Jem, mushroom stroganoff.
I made this up, but it tastes pretty good. Would probably make 3 decent servings, but as I ate with my bf that night he demolished a massive helping.

Mushroom Stroganoff a la anj_i_am

You will need
A butt load of mushrooms (I used 500g of closed cup, u could use less or a variety I guess)
300g tub of creme freche (I don't know how to spell this. Lol)
An onion
Some garlic
White wine (I used about 80ml I think)
Paprika
Nutmeg

Directions

Fry the onions and garlic in a little fry light, or do what I do and add a little water.
When soft add the mushrooms.
When the mushrooms are almost cooked add the other ingredients (I used about half a tsp of the spices. Add more or less to taste) .
Simmer gently until sauce thickens.

I pointed this as 12pp for the dish, but I didn't have my calculater, only one I found on my phone. I pointed the creme freche (low fat) as 10 (the book says 1pp per 30g. It was a 300g pot) but the calculator said 8pp for the pot. I went with the higher option as it was still low between two. The other 2pp came from the wine.

Serve with rice, pasta or mash, or a load of veggies if you're low on points.

Yesterday's food diary.

I was planning on a curry with bf last night but after looking at the pp in it we changed to harvester (he's trying to be supportive bless him) .
I didn't eat much during the day as it was a funny one and I was saving points for dinner (got a weird weekend so will be using some weeklies on Sunday when I see Foo Fighters! Woooooo!!!)

Breakfast:

Banana - 0pp
Pineapple - 0pp
Cherries - 0pp
Fromage frais - 1pp

Total: 1pp

Lunch

90g grilled chicken breast - 3pp
Free veggies - 0pp

Total: 3pp

Dinner:

2 of bf's breaded mushrooms - 2pp
2 trips to salad bar, with no naughtiness except a tiny bit of pasta and a blob (a very small blob of blue cheese dressing) say -4pp
Ribs with mash and Jack Daniels sauce (the small portion) - 14pp
Vanilla ice cream with a bit of toffee sauce - 7pp

Total: 27pp

No snacks and I only drank 0pp drinks.

Grand total:
31pp used, 0pp remaining.
0 weeklies used.

I used the nutritional info available on the website and went through loads of things to find something that would fit in with my points.
Usually I would have demolished the whole rack of ribs and been really full but the small one is actually fine, I just wish there was more veggies.

I write all the food i'm going to have in my tracker so that it' planned.

And i don't stick to it aha i have to scribble it out and change it.

It's just a little hard ain't it.

I don't like getting to dinner time and realising i've only go about 6pp left for dinner haha, i always find something though...good job the weeklies are there.

I meant Foo Fighters. I saw them last night. It was amazing. I must have earned some activity points from all the dancing and jumping I did.
