Welcome and congrats with your preganancy. Aw it's so hard to try and stick to plan while I was pregnant I wanted to but I just never did and ended up gaining pretty much 4 stone. Iv managed to lose 2 stone so far hit a bit of a brick wall last month but hopefully will better from now on. Doing slimming world with little one isn't to bad as long as I plan ahead and now it's getting colder the slow cooker has come out which is so much easier. Speaking of which I have stew in there now for tonight yummy!

They are really nice especially for a weekend treat instead of having a real takeaway. Ye feeling better today thanks still have the tail end of the cough but no where near how I was feeling.

Tonight's tea bacon and leek risotto

image-3766386295.jpg

2 leeks
1 celery stick
1 onion
1 tsp rosemary
200g risotto rice
600ml veg stock
Bacon
100g extra light Philadelphia (6)

Fry the bacon, then chuck everything in the slow cooker except for the Philly. Once ready to eat mix the Philadelphia in.

Lost 2.5lbs at weigh in tonight :) chuffed with that I think that's 2stone 2.5lbs now still long way to go but hopefully will get there eventually

Well done on your weight loss this week:)

When you made your risotto in the slow cooker did your rice hold its shape? I did one last week and it went a bit mushy.

Thank you I'm chuffed because it's put me in the next stone bracket which is always good.

No it was like slop but nice tasting slop hehe! Don't think I will be doing risotto in the slow cooker again.

It's always nice to see the next stone bracket. I find it gives me extra motivation.
I don't think I'll be doing risotto in the slow cooker again either lol

That's a shame as it looks really tasty. I love my slow cooker too. It was a lifesaver when Sophia was a new born.
