Once you start to see the lbs coming off I guarantee you will feel better, once you get into Ketosis you feel good and have loads more energy.

Take it a week at a time and before you know it it will be a month and that could easily mean a stone off.

Just keep thinking how proud you will feel.
 
Sounds like you've got some good motivations! I think admitting the problem to yourself and then seeing a path to a better life and wanting that life shoudl go a long way to help yourself stick to it!

If you do need to eat something instead of crumbling totally and having a sandwich and cake why not try an extra shake or bar in your first week to get throug the hump - it won't have much effect in the scheme of things and will keep you on track.
