Hi everyone :) I'm Claire, I have lost 61lbs in 4 1/2 months doing Lipotrim and Exante, but got to the point where I needed to eat!! Although I am not following Atkins, i'm doing Harcombe which is similar, but the forum is dead for Harcombe, so hope it is ok to pop on over to here to get some ideas x

Welcome Claire, there are a couple of us who are dabbling with Harcombe ;) and congratulations on your losses so far x

As Bren mentioned, we're doing THD too - lovely to see you here. Start up a diary if you like, we all do it :) It's a really nice bunch of people and we post all the time - and some of the time the posts are even about food lol!

Shirataki (Konnyaku) noodles

Has anyone tried these? There are virtually no carbs in these as they are mostly fibre. I have tried them once from Amazon and they were really lovely but I can't find any in London without buying online.

Yes i used them a lot for first few months - good for having with your favorite pasta sauces. I bought them from low carb megastore online. However, since i discovered cauli rice i haven't bothered with them

I'm the same, I go for cauli rice now.

I actually have two packs in the fridge that I can send you if I can figure out a way to package them so Royal Mail doesn't think I'm posting you breast implants lol. PM me if you want them.

PS - sorry just checked them and they have best before May 2011 - so I've chucked them - just to be safe.

Thanks for the offer - have ordered some from amazon as I do like them - how do you make the cauli rice?

Deleted original msg as I think I have it all wrong - sorry.

Well now I am doing it correctly - I went into waitrose today on the hunt for BBQ food.

Found Good Little Sausages from the Good Little Company (chipolatta style) 2x Sausage 1.7g carbs - they are delicious! (my opinion anyway)

They do a normal size sausage too which was 1.7g per saus.

Waitrose - Aberdeen Angus Roasted Chilli Burgers mmmmm :) 0.1g carbs per burger and they we very good indeed (140g burger)
