Low carbing but being able to eat lots of veg & fruit

I think what i am looking for is cutting out bread/pasta/rice but being to eat lots of veg & fruit, and sometimes Tuna, chicken, quorn, cheese.

have looked at Adkins, Dukan, south beach but the fruit & veg seems very restricting.

is it possible to cut out the white carbs and fill up on fruit/veg?

plan on taking a multivitamin too


Is a list of high carb foods anywhere?

There is someone on here called Lynn that does her own low carb diet but with plenty of fruit and veg.
Why not just devise your won healthy eating and log your food on myfitnesspal or similar and keep the carbs low i.e cut out bread pasta and potatoes.

OR the Harcombe diet might be ok (although im not 100% sure on the fruit and veg)

Have a look at Harcombe diet, low carb, high protein with limitless veg and salad x

I have done the southbeach diet twice but have never been able to last longer than 2days without fruit. So I eat fruit, but limit myself to 2,max 3 pieces per day and never eat bananas, mangoes or cherries. I definitely believe that too much fruit is a bad thing weight wise - I found that on Slimming World! It is sugar at the end of the day. But at the same time it is very healthy and I really crave it when doing low carb so I allow it, but not to excess.

Look on Amazon for Dr Charles Clark

did a lower carb diet of his a few years back - allows you more fruit and veg than Atkins, and is more about GI than just the high protein aspect of low carbing

my living circumstances have changed and I'm now on slimming world, as it suits me better
