You need more posts before you can put an avatar up (I think its 20 posts) after that under the "User CP" you will have an option for "Edit Avatar" on the left-hand side

1st meeting last night, thoroughly enjoyed it and even met someone I used to play golf with 15 years ago who's also just starting (or in his case returning) to LL.
