Marinade ideas

There is a fab bbq marinade on here which is syn free, great with chicken/meat :) I found it in the sizzling summer thread.

Tandoori marinade
1 carton of fat free natural yoghurt
2 green chillies, finely chopped
2 tsp grated green ginger
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp black cumin
1 1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp vinegar

Combine the yoghurt, green chillies, ginger and garlic in a blender until smooth.
Empty into a bowl and beat in all the remaining ingredients.
Marinade meat of your choice (chicken is lush :D) for at least 6 hours, but preferably overnight.
Shake off excess marinade, before baking in an oven at maximum temperature in a shallow baking tray for about 20 minutes.

Yum Yum

yesterday I marinated a pork loin in worcester sauce, it was lush (I don't have these brainwaves that often, but i'm glad I did) ;)

Mix together equal amounts of diet coke and tomato sauce, rub on meat and leave to marinade for 2 hours for a tasty bbq taste.
