I am looking at starting the Cambridge diet and was browsing their website earlier today to see what products they offer, i did notice that they did mini ready meals of chilli etc. Has anybody tried these, if so are they nice or filling??

they are only available on step 3 onwards because of the carb content, not sure what you are starting on but if you are on SS/SS+ or 810 they'll be out of bounds for now sorry! my CDC has them on her table every week and they all look lovely! cant wait to be able to try one, the beef in pepper sauce looks yummy :)

Hiya and good luck whatever weight plan you decid to embark on and i hope you're successful. R.e the meals i'm presently on the 1200 plan which is step 4 as i'm not allowed to SS due to medication and although i'm allowed the meals i havent tried any of them mainly due to their carb content and i'm a carb monster and crave crabs like crazy so since i cant do SS which you obviously lose the most weight on, i've adopted a mainly protein and CWP shakes diet, this way i should technically still get good losses although perhaps not as fast results as to those who can SS but the weight will come off easier due to the low carbs im consuming.

It all really depends on whether your desperate to lose weight fast, from what ive read about the meals they contain a similar carb value to healthy ready meals available in the supermarkets but of course they wont have the same nutritional (vitamins and minerals) content. Just because you can do SS doesnt mean you have to but well if i was allowed to SS believe me i'd be doing it. If i had no medical restrictions and still wanted meals etc i would embark on a less restrictive diet but of course everyone is different. There's someone on here who's been unbelievably successful with CWP and i think only has 1 stone to lose and so has gone through all the steps and is on step 5 1500kcals now and shes decided to utilise the diet chef products, one would presume to take out the risk of straying with all the choices supermarkets have.

Whati will say is that CWP does get quick results if a you are able to SS and b you stick with it. It's damn hard but the results are definitely worth it xx
