Medication & Lighterlife

Hello,

Could anyone help me with an answer, I have been on lighterlife diet for 10 days and have only lost 4lbs, my lighterlife counsellor stated that due to me being on Anti Biotic that I am not in ketosis, I unfortunately do not have my guide book due to puppy damage, so my question is this applicable for all medication, i.e Anti depressants, blood pressure tablets etc?

Antidepressants don't affect ketosis. I don't know about any other tablets, apart from sugar-coated ibuprofen, which can knock you out of ketosis if you're very sugar-sensitive. It would be a good idea to ask your LLC for a new book, and text/email/phone them (whichever they prefer!) to ask for professional advice. That's what they're there for! Good luck!

(Btw I didn't lose very much in the first two weeks, but got there in the end!)

Anti biotics can cause problems but that is more down to the body fighting infection and holding water. Being under the weather can cause the body to hang on to it's reserves. It will pass. Anti depressants and blood pressure tabs don't seem to affect much x
