See what i mean, on Green days i eat alot lol.
No body magic as i had an early call for work & a long night ahead of me so i'm just too tired :-(
It will probably be Friday evening before i get to the gym again.

Hi megs! Hope you've had a good day. If you are vegetarian I am sure green days would suit you. The book says on a green day to have two healthy b choices and one or two a choices. When I first did sw about 10 years ago I did mostly green days and always had four He's and lost 3 stone (2 children later its all back on hence why I'm back!) As I'm feeding my son at the moment I get 4 additional HEs so I eat 6 HEs on am extra easy day or 8 on a green day - it took me a while to believe I could eat them all and still loose weight but now I make full use of them :) .

Do you feel hungry on the plan as you don't seem to eat much to me? I wish I could eat less but that's why I love sw as I can keep going until I'm full! I'm having my first meal out tonight since starting the plan (3 months!) So I'm a bit nervous but its sushi so I'm thinking I can't go too overboard with that! :)

1lb lost this week, which gives me my 1 stone award :-D I am now half way through my target loss xx

Hi, i'm trying to eat abit more in the last few days, as i am starting to think that although i am losing i am starting to lose slowly, like 1lb at a time. So i had thought i wasn't eating enough.
I am sure for you reading my food diary it sounds like i eat hardly anything, but for the past 3 weeks i have been covering my colleague at work (he has gone travelling), so this means working at night :-S with no dayshift.
Basically i don't get up very early, as that leaves me tired at night. i would prefer to have a few hours relaxing when i finish my shift, rather than relaxing before i start. So i would be up around 12 ish & that gives me 4 hours before work starts. i then work 10.5 hours.
So most of my eating on those days is done during working hours, the only eating i do apart from that is just some breakfast, i wouldnt be up early enough to have breakfast & lunch at home. Its all abit upside down lol. Next week though i am back to normal, so we'll see if that makes a difference.
When you're trying to lose weight it is difficult to put your faith in the plan & eat & still lose weight, i guess it comes from the old mentality that you must reduce your eating to lose weight.
I think i will knock the extra easy days on the head, with being vegetarian it makes more sense to do green days :)
Congrats on ur initial weight loss, i'm sure you will do equally well this time around xo
 
Wow, that must be so tough doing so many nightshifts and staying super organised with your food! Hope you enjoy your green days and extra HEs! I'm so used to mine now I don't know what i'll do when I cut them down!.roll on next week for you and some daytime shifts!
 
Yes it will be good to get some normal shifts & get some proper dinners!

It's not a very big portion as the sultanas weigh quite heavy, but i have it with a banana & it's delicious x
 
Whoops, weetabix oaty bars are 3.5 syns, i put 3 by mistake. So that takes today's total to: 12.5 syns (May 31st).

June 6th already, Summer is coming!
I was away for 3 lovely days at the weekend, it was blissful. Tried my best foodwise, but sometimes you just have to loosen the reigns. So...i'm firmly back on the S.W. trail today & hoping 3 good days before Thursday's weigh in will redeem me somewhat :)
So here goes with todays effort. Green Day:
