Oh nolove that ur sun is compassionate and practical! Can u take anti/histamine? I get my tan from a bottle! Can ur GP prescribe stronger antihistamine that u can't buy over counter? I got prescribed some strong ones before I got married because I kept getting bitten and they'd swell up big time. Telfast, I think that's what they were called. Hope it eases off x
Just took one this morning. I normally start taking them a week before my holiday but i didnt think i would have to take them for sunbeds! New lesson learnt. Didnt think the doctor would give me anything as i will only go to the docs when my face has gone down so they cant actually see the problem. Its quite mild this time or i would take a photo and go to the docs with that.
Get those strong ones before ur holiday. 2-3 week supply is hardly gonna break the GPs bank. Sure they'd prescribe it if it meant u would have a better holiday. Photo if ur face would be good so they can see how it impacts on ur day to day lifeSending anti-histamines virtually ur way
x
Hi MM. Your before and after pictures are amazing! 4 stone is a massive amount to have lost. You've done so well. I can only admire your determination! Looking forward to seeing you in that pink dress!
Oh no what a disaster, bad enough that it effects you in the sun but to have it do the same with a sunbed is just wrongI would get your ever so kind, loving, compassionate (lol I love him
) son to take a couple of photos of your face so that the doctor can see the effects when you go in case it's all gone down xx
<img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=136609"/> Like this MM? I think you may have a condition called solar urticaria. Taking a photo is actually quite a good idea - then your GP can understand what the reaction is like. I don't think you're going to like my advice - but you need to stay out of the sun to prevent this from happening. It's caused by an immune reaction to UV light, so sun beds are out as well. Antihistamine may reduce the reaction, but probably not prevent it entirelyIf I'm right, your GP might want to refer you to a dermatologist or immunologist for an opinion.
I think I'll be using MFP for the rest of my life! If I ever get to goal I'm going to make sure I don't go above the amount of calories I need to maintain. Marge has a calculator for this on her diary. My current daily amount is 1749 calories.
Hope ur day is good Miss M! Katie and I were talking on our walk about how jealous we are if ur flat bellyx
