Miss Mac diary - A fresh start!

Atkins rtd's are ok but a bit watery

Thats a nuisance MM. Wonder why they are stopping doing them. Well done on seeing a loss this week x

I think they mustn't be cost effective and take up too much shelf space. Both stores still seem to be doing the powder so thats what i think has happened.
Just hope i can stomach them as reason i didnt go back to exante products was the texture was making me gagg. I have now kind of associated that with all of the powders hence needing the tetras.

I bought a box of ultra slim from tesco and i have to make that up with orange juice!
I didnt realise that till i got home but now im thinking it may be good as its going to be totally different to a shake!
It may also set my sweet tooth off so jury is still out on that one.

Ooh mixing with orange juice sounds quite nice MM. A change is as good as a break so it may work out all the better. Fingers crossed x

Yeah, its a 'smoothie' rather than a shake.
May keep those as a 'treat' :)

Not long now Miss M, enjoy your last few days....but not too much obviously ;) xx

Hiya Miss Mac, love your planning. Makes the phases seem do-able. Enjoy your couple of weeks leading upto Phase 3 xx

All ready for phase 3!!!

No i havent susie, is it horrible?
I got it reduced in tesco and figured as its a ready made i could use it in emergency. Thought even if it was horrible i could just neck it to get a pack down. They are more calories too so wouldnt have more than 1 on any given day.
Are they really bad?
Yes still just 2 a day :)

Never had it so was just wondering ? x

Glad you got some stock :)
I always thought complan was like a build up product for people that couldnt eat
I seem to remember my nana being given that when she couldnt swallow proper food.
But that was a good 20 years ago. Maybe its changed :)

No i think youre right marge. Think it was designed for that as a 'meal replacement' and that exactly what i need to just for other reasons.
Calories are slightly higher but apart from that not much difference to the other ready made packs i have.

Yes we use to use them for patients that were struggling to eat. Can still smell them now x

Er just re read that & it hasn't come across as I intended. I am talking about the complan of course  x
