Sounds like you are in full control. It's going well for me. Felt a bit odd today - not hungry exactly but that I needed food do I had some ham and some plain nuts) seems to have done the trick and reckoning that cos nuts and ham are low carb I won't have done too much harm. X

I felt like that yesterday, so had a bit too much fish, whereas today i'm not as hungry.
I'm glad its going well for you, well done for having something sensible, its tricky when we are hungry isn't it. xx

Ooh I would love to make some curtains!!!! My sewing machine is still back at my parents house as I haven't moved it in to my new (actually not so new) flat. I love jerk seasoning :) I have some in the cupboard but I think its far too salty to be allowed on CD. Hope you're having a brill evening x

Ah you should get your machine if you can!! Sewing I find it a bit fiddly sometimes but i'm so pleased when I get something finished.
Is your parents house far for you to get your sewing machine??
I agree about Jerk being salty I only used a little bit but it was still too much - never mind. Yes i'm having an alright night thankyou, hope you are too!! (and everyone else) xx
 
Well good morning, I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

As for me, I hope I have another productive day.

I did not have the internet on at all between 12pm - 5pm yesterday and found I got much more done than usual, made 2 sets curtains.
I do go on the internet too much sometimes, especially to take my mind off food but sometimes its too much. I will see if I can keep it switched off again today.
I usually turn to food when i'm bored, now its the internet. That is better for me but will try and do things that need to be done.

The sun is shining so thats nice.
I've not had anything to eat yet.
I was quite moody last night, sometimes I find my mood gets worse as the day goes on, I felt grumpy and emotional, and I put it down to the diet (no other reason for last night). It is strange but I guess my body is having to go through changes and it manifests itself in different ways.

The flat is a mess so got to tidy today. Not sure what else I will do.

Wonder what other people do on a weekend?? Answers on a postcard please!!!

I find the weekends the hardest, cos usually me and my boyfriend would probably go out shopping and go for some dinner and I would cook a roast on a Sunday sometimes.
My parents live about a 45 minutes drive away so not too far to pick up my sewing machine! I really want to make some curtains now hehe :)

Weekend wise - picking up daughter from her exam at 12 then off ice skating - her not me.

ah ice skating, thats something I haven't done since I've been getting bigger and bigger.
I agree about carb overload, I was feeling quite rough before I started CD and what I ate (lot carbs) didn't help. and as for moods I feel better today xx
 
Today I had a tetra to start the day.

And more sewing!!
I made my too big jeans fit me, I cut a sort of v shaped notch out of back of the waistband and sewed using my machine. They are not perfect but actually they look alright, prob because they are scruffy jeans with lots of top stitching it fits in. Doubt if anyone will notice what i've done. I was a bit unsure of what I was doing but I had nothing to lose as they were too big, and had holes in too, which I have also sewed up. So thats good I can wear the jeans instead of them going to be recycled. (I couldn't have given them to charity shop due to the holes)

For tea I had quorn using my homemade herb mix cooked in the microwave with cauliflower. I also added a Splash of worcester and today I tried a splash of balsamic vinegar in it too, then cooked it all up, I liked it.

Incase anyone is interested, how I made my herb mix: I got a little tupperwear pot I threw in dried herbs, about a spoon of each, cant remember but probably basil, thyme, rosemary, etc etc and added a spoon of dried chilli flakes. Lid on, shake and its ready.
You could add crushed black pepper, but I add pepper fresh everytime I cook separately only because I have a black pepper spice mill.

You might do this but if not its a great way to use dried herbs that are languishing in the back of the cupboard because if like me you don't know what to add to what, a bit of everything seems to work well!!

I need telling off/scaring into drinking more water. I am really struggling and need to make sure I get enough fluid.
Yesterday I didn't drink enough water. I felt a bit rough last night. The day started well but as day went on I drank less.
Last night before bed I drank some skimmed milk, and also had some thin slices of beef, about 100g. (from a packet).
I felt quite hungry yesterday but I expect I would have been ok if i'd had enough water.
I will try and have 2 glasses of water before every shake today. And make shake up with extra water. Maybe i'l drink warm water from the kettle too.
I need telling off/scaring into drinking more water.

I have cleaning to do, i've got piles of muddles to sort out, laundry to do.
Never mind I will do it tomorrow..
 
Today we ate out, I really enjoyed the food, but of course I should not have done it. It wasn't planned. It was only a small meal but it did include carbs.
I will just have to try extra hard from now on.
I've been drinking more today than yesterday but I have a headache right now prob because the meal was salty, and I am trying to get more fluids into me now.

Well my headache has gone overnight, and I have just had my SS+ meal for breakfast, I had omelette with dried mixed herbs. It was a bit boring as didn't have any mushrooms but nevermind. I will have the veg part later, a couple of florets of raw cauliflower. I tried raw cauli for the first time yesterday and I liked it, its alright. (i've liked it cooked since I was a child.)
I've got some water and am trying to have it little and often.
 
I was hungry so I had a tetra a bit early, (was due to have 45+ mins later than what I did.)
And i've just had the veg part of SS+ that I missed earlier.
I had raw cauliflower with a splash of balsamic vinegar and black pepper. Very healthy!
I would not have eaten that for a snack 3 months ago. I have tried lots of new foods or cooking in a different way since starting CD.

I've tried fennel for the first time the other day, learnt to cook fish, started using herbs for flavour instead of fat salt etc, its a shame I didn't start CD earlier but never mind.

2 eggs - 2 cauli florets = ss+ meal
strawberry tetra,
Just had some semi skimmed milk, took a couple of swigs then stopped. Not good. And then had 100g quorn.
I am not doing very well today. I am off to the gym tonight so will have to spend longer in there.

Well today is weigh in day!

But unfortunately I ate 3 boiled eggs last night, so I am not sure what to expect.
Today I am being really strict with what I eat. I will have no non CD food until 6pm, at which time I will have my SS+ meal.
 
I just checked another ketosis stick, yesterday there were traces towards the end of the day, and today I am definitely in ketosis, so hopefully that will make it easier as I was quite hungry yesterday. (Must have went out of ketosis after sundays food)
I dont check often but because of sunday I have been looking everyday.

I am having a choc mint shake warm but I think I add too much water as its a bit weak, but its still nice and warming. i'm not sure how much liquid is in it, but its a jumbo mug near to the brim. Will use less water next time.

We want to set the date for the wedding so I will have to try extra extra hard now!
We are planning to get hitched in February and thats not long.
eek!!
 
I have started a separate thread specifically about our wedding on weight loss forum/bride to be section, incase anyone is interested.
I though I could post about it here, but I don't know if there are many brides to be on the CD forum, and don't want to bore anyone who reads my CD diary!!
 
Well I have been weighed....I only lost 2lbs :(

I am a bit disappointed but its to be expected after sunday/mondays eating. I will do better next week though!!.
Straight after my weigh in I went to the gym so thats something i'm pleased about. :)

For my SS+ meal I just had omelette with haddock, but used smoked haddock for the first time, I didn't use much though. I'm hoping smoking the fish only adds salt, so am having extra water to try and compensate.
