ProPoints Missyb - 2011 is looming, Propoints is here!

Hello!

Thanks for posting in my diary!

I've had a brief mosey through yours just now. Well done for getting back on track and losing 6lbs! I always think it's great motivation when you see that all your hard work is paying off!

Hi Missus, I finally tracked down your new diary!
Well done on that amazing loss, thats certainly a good start!
Stop worrying about that wine, you're allowed to treat yourself and its better to do that than deny yourself everything, feel deprived and end up falling off the wagon completely xx

Happy New Year

well done on getting back to it, thats a fab loss:D

Try not to feel guilty about the wine, sounds as though it helped in the end;)

Hope you have a good weekend x

It certainly did help - I feel horrible today! I hate hangovers and this is why I try my hardest not to drink!

Made a big batch of 0pt soup to try and make myself feel better about scoffing that wine! Won't be doing that in a hurry again!

we're given the 49 pp extra for a reason,,go use them!!!! i intend on using 35 out of mine for wine and goodies over the weekendand plan on using around 35 as i feel 49 is too high for me,,well done on the huge weightloss oh and well done on 'going'

I have used 35 of my weekly points this week and as long as nothing terrible happens between now and tomorrow morning I will have a good loss to report :) They are meant to be eaten, daily points aren't the same as old daily, they don't go as far. It's like they've saved the points for you already and trick you into eating better normally.

i just joined ww on monday and have 2 say im pretty impressed with the propoints, got the little calculater and its great.Missy u should look at tuscany 4 ur wedding i was there last year and would love 2 renew my marraige vows there someday,im 20 years married in march and going 2 rome 4 that so really want 2 lose some weight 4 that,im 12.10 at the minute and would love 2 get down 2 10 stone 7

Firstly a very well done on your 6lb loss & then another 2 after the poo!:p

When you say dissolvable laxatives do you mean fybogel/laxido/movicol that type of thing??
I find at the pharmacy that when we do prescriptions for these that people have to take them every day, long term.

Also dulcoloax is the only thing that works for me,2 at night time certainly gives a huge evacuation the next morning!! although they can give you tummy ache & you can get a real urgency for the loo so have to time taking them right.

Have a good weekend hun xxx

Hey all, thanks for the messages - I think I'm just feeling a bit crummy today because of a hangover, I tried to eat some lunch earlier and thought I was going to barf! I know I shouldn't feel too guilty, I'm just not used to drinking that quantity of wine on WW!

Charly I've been prescribed Laxido and Movicol, I have been taking 3 a day for a week! Ducolax, on the two occasions I've taken it recently has done absolutely nothing for me :( I'm going to go to the doctors next week I think, last time I spoke to him he said if I was still having difficulty going he would refer me onto a specialist.

This afternoon I've done very little - I read for a bit and fell asleep because I felt rather vile, and now Rob's home I'm cooking homemade fish and chips for dinner - 10ppts plus 0ppt salad :)

Mmm the fish and chips sounds amazing!! Hope the hangover isn't too horrible - they always seem to have a horrible way of making me feel guilty (even when not on WW!!) and I am the biggest lightweight you have ever seen...

Hope you are feeling a bit better and the Doc is able to suggest something next week.

Have a lovely weekend xx

Hey hun hope today has been a good one! xx

Today has been a tiring one! I walked into Yarmouth (about 2.5miles) and bought some boots and a pair of shoes that were reduced in the sale, then went and got some food for dinner. When I got home I was all restless and after having my lunch I decided to go for another walk (this one was about 4 miles!) - so all in all I've done 11 Activity Points today and I'm shattered!

Been on plan all day, got Cajun Combo for dinner out of the new ProPoints cook book but I feel a bit guilty for eating a WW Chocoloate Slice AND a packet of 2 cookies! I usually try and limit myself to one treat a day, but I was hungry!

After my dinner I'll have 9ppts left so will have a yoghurt and some fruit I think, possibly a banana!

Hope you've all had good days xxx

Morning all - not such a good morning for me, I feel totally washed out and blergh - I think I've either picked up a virus (nice timing for my birthday next week) or I just overdid it yesterday. In toilet related news I've been twice this morning and it seems I either can't go, or seem to be going too much - sigh!

I did 30 mins on the Wii this morning and made an attempt to go out for a walk but felt pretty vile so walked for about a mile and came home.

Oh, and I was 16st 3lbs yesterday - I'm now 16st 4lbs? I know I shouldn't SP, but it made me feel a bit glum after all the exercise yesterday. Am convinced it's because I had too many treats yesterday (2 x cookies and a ww slice) so will limit that today.

Mum and possibly Nana are coming over today - they've not been round since the flat has been all sorted so that'll be nice, we're going to have a sweet potato pasta type thing for dinner :)

Have a good day y'all xxx

Hello missus - found you at last!

Your fiancé sounds exactly like my husband! He is very shy too and we had a tiny wedding - just immediate family, think there were 10 of us in total, then a buffet back at his mums' house. It was about as low key as you can get!!

But it's what comes after that counts and I'm sure, like us, you'll just be glad to be Mr&Mrs! Congrats on setting a date :D

Good luck on the new plan, I'll just be sticking to the old one for now I reckon. This will be our year!

Sorry you've been having toilet trouble again - you poor thing! You should def get yourself referred to a specialist as it just sounds nightmarish.

Thanks Laura :) Good to see you! I think you should do whichever plan you feel most comfortable with - I'm going to give the new plan a go and if I don't get on with it I'll go back to vintage points.

Yesterday I was 9 over my points, so taken from my dailys - we had a nice dinner and some wine and a dessert and although I felt really guilty I guess it's nearly my birthday so I shouldn't feel too bad. I walked into the next town too so earned 5 Activity points.

Today and tomorrow I'm going to be extra good before WI, and then after that it's my birthday on Friday, woohoo!

xxx

Wow so much walking!!! no wonder you felt a tincy bit deflated by getting on the scales (early i may add!) & not seeing a move in the right direction but im sure come weigh in all will be good.

Are you doing anything nice for your bday? xx

I think we're going to go for a meal and cocktails in Norwich, or that seems to be the general consensus at the moment. I think it'll just be me and Rob which is fine by me. We'll be staying at my Mum's and then on the Saturday we're going to have a birthday tea somewhere - either at hers or at a restaurant, which is why I've gotta be good all this week until my birthday - I'm going to try and attempt to point but not going to get too upset if I don't, if that makes sense :)

Just done 30 minutes on the Wii - I'm loving the yoga routines, my posture has already improved in less than a week! Going to have my breakfast in a bit, not sure what we are doing today, Rob is off for the week, hurrah!

xxxx

Hi, thanks for the comments on my diary! Just popping by to say hope you have a nice day! xx

Oooh, hope you have a lovely birthday week :) Don't fret too much about food, it's only once a year. You are doing a great job at counterbalancing the food with exercise, definitely the best plan. Hope you have another great WI.
