Mobile Phone Recommendations?

Im due for a mobile phone upgrade just now. I currently have a Motorola V8 which I love and got a Samsung G600 which is going back (I think)

What phones would you recommend. I love the Samsung apart from the fact I cant set my own text alert tone and I cant move the 'Orange' logo from the screen to a place where it doesnt ruin every photo I set as wallpaper.

The text alert is the ONE thing a phone needs to have...
