Motivation to Move

Great totals, Bubble. It must be nice to get back to normality :)

Its good being back to routine, Im a bit of a routine buff!
Forgot my pedometer yesterday but know I did at least 5 miles walking kids to school and back. Did Day2 Week2 of c25k and also a few more planks for 12 secs before falling flat on my face!!
Anyway going to actually attempt day3 of c25k out at the park later instead of the treadmill, people say its much more rewarding outdoors. I get so embarrassed might wear a balaclava so no one recognises me!

Well now, look out Buns of Steel; here I come.

Starting the 30 day squat today...

In the meantime here are the last week's fitbit logs;
Friday 11780
Saturday 7211
Sunday 3196!
Monday 8141
Tuesday 6976
Wednesday 7858
Thursday 6462
Friday 6466
Today 10946

Tentatively showing my face again in here

My Fitbit is playing up and keeps resetting itself - I'm hoping it just needs a new battery - so have no steps to log but have done days 1 and 2 L1 Shred, 40 mins on the Wii (back in the obese range ) and a good long dog walk yesterday.

Consequently, I am walking like John Wayne on a particularly bad day and can barely lift my arms!!

Hi guys
Im back after my lovely week off, hope you are all doing well.
Will try and log my steps with as much data as I can pull off!!

It was great, we went to the zoo on one day, walked around some castle ruins on another day, the weather was lovely so we made the most of being outside!!

Yesterday steps a pitiful 5223

Hooray. Well done you :)

6811 for yesterday, not bad considering my back and leg were killing me
Not as bad today although still niggling but the tendon in the back of my thigh feels so knotted and tight, dunno if my figures will be all that great today

I will aim for 7000 steps today......

it might only be 7000 to some but the way I see it its better than the 1000 I would normally get in - and we are lapping everyone staying sat on the couch!

Hello.

Hope you don't mind me popping in.
I see you've all be tracking your steps and I like to make note of my steps as well and thought I'd join in here to help keep me motivated.

I'm going to set myself a daily challenge of 10000 steps per day and a weekly goal of 90000 because I often go over the 10000 steps per day, but don't manage it every day.
I've just started full-time at a job I was previously doing part-time and often hit 10000 steps doing this.
I'm going to judge it this week at 10000 steps per day and then maybe up my target next week.
A weekly goal will also make me feel better if I don't hit my daily goal on one day, I should still be able to hit weekly goal by counteracting it with a slightly more active day.

So...

Monday 19/5 - 11379 11379/90000
Tuesday 20/5 - 19860 31239/90000
Wednesday 21/5 -
Thursday 22/5 -
Friday 23/5 -
Saturday 24/5 -
Sunday 25/5 -

Would anyone like to join me in setting a weekly goal?

Absolutely!
I'm very active at work, but on my days off, I can struggle to hit 5000 steps.
So 7000 is a great goal.
Did you reach it?

Ill be rejoining you guys in june when im back from centreparcs. I havent forgotten you im just in a pickle at the moment.
I have been doing c25k every other day with 30ds between and today im on 17244 steps 7.18 miles with my walking so although im eating like a piggy im moving quite a bit. X

Hi ladies, hoping I can join you. I ordered a fitbit tonight online so looking forward to starting to track my steps when it arrives later in the week. I have a really inactive desk job so hoping this will really encourage me to me more aware and move more!
