Breakfast - hifi bar (hex b)

Lunch - pasta with mushrooms and peppers with a side of ceasar salad (2 syns)

Tea- Takeaway- chinese will decide what later

Snacks - cups of tea with milk (hex a)
Made some scan bran chocolate cakes at 1 syn each to take for coffee with the girls this morning.

Tea was chicken fried rice (9.5 syns), curry sauce (12 syns), wine and soda (3 syns), prawn crackers (2 syns) and seaweed (9.5 syns).

Breakfast - scan bran cakes from yesterday (2 syns)

Lunch - houmous (hex b) and veg

Tea- got the inlaws coming so that means a 3 course meal.
Starter - Syn free mushroom pate (homemade) with a slice of toast (hex b)
Main - chicken ceasar salad (syns 10)
Dessert SW tiramisu (3 syns)

Last night I also ended up drinking a bottle of red wine (25.5 syns!!!!).
However, usually after drinking that much I would turn to the snacks, crisps in particular. Plus my husband is always willing to walk to the shop and buy some so he can get sweets.
I planned ahead and bought him some sweets and myself some french fries (4 Syns) just in case.
My resolve was strong and I didn't have either, but my husband had both.
 
Making this for breakfast / snacks while I work throughout the day.

Pete’s Scan Bran Carrot Cake
Syn free

Ingredients

5 scan bran
300g/3 medium size carrots
1 egg
3 Tbsp sweetener
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp nutmeg
Pinch salt
Zest from 1 lemon

Method

Break the scan bran into a mixing bowl and add boiling water, a bit at a time to soften them, mash into a smooth mix.

Grate the peeled carrots, drain as much liquid out of them as possible, and then place in a towel and wring out any remaining liquid. Add to mixing bowl along with the egg, sweetener and spices & lemon zest, mix well.

Preheat the oven to 180c and prepare a loaf tin, line with greaseproof paper cut to fit, spray with fry light.

Place on the middle shelf for 30 mins, insert a metal skewer into the middle of the cake and when you pull it out and it comes out clean, the cake is done.

Remove from the tin and allow to cool on a wire rack.

Lunch - cottage cheese with salad and a mugshot (if I'm hungry)

Tea- hunters chicken (3.5 syns) and veg and possibly a mullerlight yoghurt

Snacks - milk (hex a)

So disappointed after weigh-in yesterday I was naughty and had pizza!

Change of plan, last night ended up being takeaway and I'm out tonight for tea.
Tea last night came to a whooping 39 syns!
Someone please give me a kick up the backside.
I need to get back on track
