Mushy Pea Curry

I'm going to try this tonight, fingers crossed i get it right, gonna have salad and sin free chipsm yum yum

Must say i was presently surprised. I don't like baken beans much so i added a can of curried mixed beans and then i chopped some skinless chicken thighs and it was really tasty

thank so much for the recipe

Found this on another site , might have to try

3 cans of mushy peas
1 can of baked beans
onions and mushrooms (as many as you like)
1 tablespoon of sweetener
curry powder to taste ( i use the schwartz mild curry powder as im not good with spicy foods)
fry light

brown off the onions and mushrooms in some fry light, then add all the rest of the ingredients and leave on the heat for approx 20-30 mins. If you find the mixture to thick just add some water.

I make this around 3 times a week. The whole family love it.
I make the curry up then pour it into the slow cooker add cooked chicken, onions, peppers and mushrooms this way I'm getting my 1/3 of super free too.
We all enjoy it xx

How long in the slow cooker Hun? As that sounds such a good idea when I've had a long 12 hour shift to come home to. X

The longest I've left it in is 10 hours so I can't see 12 hours making a difference. The chicken will be very tender and delish ;0)

Also if you fancy a fruity curry do the same but just add a bit of sweetener and a few sultanas but the sultanas are syns ;0)
Delish also !!

I had this for the first time tonight. When I was making it I really wasn't sure but then the neon greenness faded and it tasted lush! Definitely going on my quick and easy tea list.

Just made this tonight - what can I say, never judge a book by the cover! It was yum! :) Had it with some SW chips - am stuffed :D

Is there any syns in this?
i had mentioned it at my group and they said it was 6 syns for the curry powder:eek:

Thanks :)
i dont know if they maybe thought i was talking about like a curry sauce powder instead of the curry powder thats for seasoning. think ill make this for dinner tonight, its put me in the mood for it

Thanks
