My 128 lb Drop Diary [WEEK 67]

Happy new year all of you I wish you the best!

So somehow I ended up drinking 8 beers and 1/4 of a bottle of jack daniels.

I have no idea how this happened. But anyway, here's a funny picture. We tried to reinvent a picture we did last new years eve and came up with this:

There will be a loss this week, I did a cheeky non-official weigh-in with my clothes when I woke up and I was lower than 233lbs. Now considering I probably have some excess water weight still, I am guessing at least a 3lb loss. Got to recover from that huge festive gain.

And considering I got well and truly hammered on New Years, with the huge amount of calories that brings, a 3lb loss is a great result haha

So yeh, should be at least three pounds. I want to get back into the 15 stones ASAP because it felt amazing. And then, holy crap, the idea of 14 stone seems like the most surreal thing in the world to me. I don't remember being 15st in my life until a few weeks ago, let alone 14st! I must have been about 11 years old when I weighed that much.

Been craving all week but that's why cheat day is so important, I can look forward to a nice chinese on Sunday!

Hope you all had a good week, I just want a good last day before the weigh in. Plenty of water and keep it extra strict, and I should be seeing success :)

Do you set your calorie intake as your TDEE? Ie to have the calorie deficit that MFP gives you? Whilst I feel positive and committed about losing this last 14lbs I've struggled with (but maintained weight more or less over past 6 months) I'm still nervous about what calorie counting method to use 5:2 diet using vlcd products for some meals to help with counting etc or you and Tracy's way which certainly working!

To be honest, I don't even use MFP anymore. I know the calories in all the food I eat from my head, so I just count it as the day goes by. I try to keep it within 1500-1800 each day and that's it.

So, say at 4 PM I will think to myself, "Okay I had a steak slice and a bowl of chicken noodles, that's 900 calories. So 600 calories left for dinner". That's pretty much the way it is for me these days.

So yeh I do have a mental calorie deficit of 1500. But I will go to 1800 if I really do feel hungry!
 
Thanks Alex. That is helpful . It is kind of how I did it back last April to May when I came off vlcd and introduced food it sadly I didn't keep it completely up! Like you I know to calorie values of most foods we have at home and if out so I should know better!

Btw I am still envious how,you make weightloss seem so effortless! :)

I try not to pour all my energy into it or think about it 24/7. It's just keeping tabs on food and I've done it for so long now that I do it without thinking about it. I find it easy now :p
 
I lost 7.4lbs, so almost undone all the damage I did from festive week! Only 2.2lbs away from being the weight I was before Xmas :)
 
Amazing!!!!! Man that Chinese is going to taste so good now! Have you done much exercise this week or is it just from eating really well?
 
OMG!!! That is am amazing loss!! Crikey!! After the festive season too!!! And your'e not even doing a vlcd!! That is just brilliant!! Well done!!! I'm thrilled for you!
