My EE Menu

    I've not made a diary of my own yet, so I thought I'd start a thread for today food. Anyone else want to add their EE day ??

    Here's mine for an extra easy day:

    Breakfast- melon and grapes

    Snacks- pear, clementines, yog

    Dinner- 42g feta (HA), 20g mixed seeds (HB), large mixed salad, rocket leaves, cottage cheese.

    Tea- tinned smoked mackerel (1syn per 100g, 1.25syns total), couscous (0.5syns per 100g, 1.3syns total) (just to be sure fish and couscous total=2.5syns), small salad

    Snack- highlights hot choc (large- 3syns)

    I must admit I got to tea time and felt soooo liberated with being able to chose what day to make it. Extra easy just makes me feel like I have extra choice, which helps sooooo much when following a plan that is destined to be a lifestyle change :)

    I have always thought I was a green person as I dont eat meat (but do eat fish), but now I'm finding EE so easy. Someone else on here mentioned that EE was a more normal way of eating, I totally agree :)

    I have only been following the plan for just over week but already I am loving EE. Like people say it's a natural eating pattern so should be very easy to maintain long term. I have been amazed at the choice of foods available and I can honestly say it doesn't feel like a "diet" which I've never been able to say before. xxx

    Good luck with the rest of your journey ! I think it should be easier long term, like you say, its more natural eating :)

    Yes I was under the impression they were free too. Your diet may just get even better! :)

    This has been my day ...

    Breakfast - 2 alpen light bars (heb)

    Snack - cheese curls (3.5 syns)

    Lunch - tomato & mozarella pasta (0.5 syns)

    Snack - french fries (4 syns)

    Dinner - syn-free sausages, beans, mushrooms, eggs & chips

    Have seriously missed out on fruit & veg cos we had none in :( Got soem now, so tomorrow will be better!
