My Mostly Green diary!

Well this is prob the 50th diary I've started...

Lost weight with slimming world 2 years ago but put some back on when I decided to try different diets....got in a rut of doing a different plan every week, ww, Atkins and slim fast but Sw is the only plan where I've not felt restricted in what I can eat so I'm dusting my books off and starting fresh!

Tomorrow is my start day but weigh in will be on a Saturday. I do more green days than anything but may have the odd EE day

Having a green day today....using the last bits from the cupboard until food shopping tomorrow so its not gonna be very inspiring.

A- Milk
A
B- 2 alpen lights
B- ryvita minis

Breakfast- 2 alpen lights broken up with a activia fat free yogurt poured over

Had 2 boiled eggs as a snack mid morning

Lunch- Mild curry savoury rice
Melon and grapes



Dinner- Jacket potato, beans and cheese ( 1 light babybel)



Syns- babybel light- 2
200g peaches in juice - 5

Ginger herbal tea
Strawberry and orange tea

Shred 1/30

Had a good day today......Although I've not had very much fruit/veg but that's down to it being the day before shopping day. Tomorrow should be much better.
Planning on making chickpea loaf to have for dinner....very excited! Lol.

Also restarted 30 day shred...my legs hurt but I feel good.

B- pitta bread ( wholemeal)

Breakfast- strawberries, activia fat free yogurt and a alpen light ( 3 syns)


Lunch- breakfast pitta
2 quorn sausages (2 syns)
2 boiled eggs and a bit of tomato sauce ( 1 syn) in a pitta bread



Dinner- had some buttersquash and carrot soup

Having sw chips in about an hour....covered in salt and vinegar!! Yum.

Was gonna have egg fried rice but I'm not feeling too good so will prob make that tomorrow.

I'm in a real comfort food mood tonight! It's pouring with rain outside and is freezing cold! Think I'm gonna have an options chocolate with 2 alpen lights yum x

Syns- whisky tonight...should be 9syns? Will have a look in the book.

My tea....was really nice!

Planning on having some whisky tonight....only 2 though cause I have to do the school run tomorrow and then taking my little one to playgroup.....a hangover is not welcome lol

Aarrggghhh the urge to eat chocolate and ginger cake is strong!!! Sat here with Pepsi max to try to get rid of the craving!

Curry was really nice but can be improved....a bit less tomato and more spice.. also the recipe called for spinach and I didn't have any.


Made a 'sundae' with a banana, fibre plus bar (6 syns), toffee custard (8 syns) and a flump (1.5)


Syns- oil- 0.5

16 syns!!! ( thought I had a b choice left then realised halfway through my sundae that I had used them all up) Not gonna worry too much though.

I weighed in today ( a day early) cause I'm going out tonight for the first time in years and may have alcohol lol.......

9st 6!!!!!!!!! So a lost of 4lbs!! Really really pleased with that. Even so I will stick to plan as much as poss tonight.

Straight back on plan today! I thought I did quite well last night...left food on my plate instead of clearing it and I chose the best I could ( except for the ice cream and wine lol) but still I enjoyed myself.

Ooh hello! Yeah I love green days... I'm not a vege yet but am thinking about it as I don't really like meat much.
I get the fibre plus from the 99p shop but they're getting harder to find now :(
I've actually read you're food diary...it gave me ideas for meals etc! Lol. X

Scones I made ( 7 syns) with jam and total 0% Greek yogurt! Was so yummy! Got the recipe from another food diary...will def make again.

I've just ordered my online shop for tomorrow..got lots of lentils, chickpeas and quorn as well as fruit and veg. Really wanted to buy tofu but unsure of how to use...any ideas?
