    Hi all

I'm starting a new diary o try and get my motivation back. I went on holiday in September then had a wedding down in devon in october and spent the week there for my DDs 2nd birthday and I just can't seem to get my head back in it. I'm only a lb heavier then what I was before my september holiday but its just been up and down since then and i just need it to start going the right way again!

Me, the hubby and DD have just moved into my parents house for a few months to save some money to be able to afford to move to devon long term around feb time next year and I'm finding it so difficult to keep control of my food. My meals have all be SW friendly as I'm cooking for us all every night and doing the food shopping etc but my mum always gets loads of biccies and choccy in, which I can usually stay away from and I am trying so hard but after a few days I lose my resolve and thats followed by a few days of comfort eating cos I'm mad at myself for giving in....go figure! I think I'm finding it quite stressful being back with the parents and I'm turning to food as comfort again, which is probably why I had weight issues in the first place. I need to break this habbit, hense why I'm re-starting a new diary. I need as much help and support as I can get.

Some of you may have seen me around here at some point, I'm not a massive minimins user, I love the site, just my 2 year old DD keeps me busy so I'm not the best at keeping up to date with everyones diaries, I just about have enough time to update my own and have a quick browse. I will try harder to make time to check in with everyone.

I really want to get my 5 stone award (6 stone total loss) by the last WI before xmas which will mean I need to lose 11lbs in 5 weeks so really need to stick to plan as much as possible.

    Today I have had/am having:

    Breakfast: Apple
Lunch: Superspeed soup with 2 x wholemeal bread (small loaf HEB)
Dinner: Simply baked salmon with boiled rice and plum tomatoes
    HEA milk in coffee/tea
Syns: 5.5 for 2 finger kitkat

Also going to get some more fruit for after dinner and might have a shape zero too.

Has anyone got and tips to help me stay away from the evil choc, apart from asking mum not to by any as she won't stop....tried that one already.

Sorry for my ramblings, feel free to kick my butt into gear!!! I need it!!

Not a happy bunny tonight. Had my WI tonight and i've gained 1.5 lbs. i'm not surprised just mega mad at myself for being so weak!! I am really motivated to do well this week though, would love to get 3lbs off by next tuesday. my plan off attack is to stick to plan, walk for at least 30 mins every day plus zumba on thursday. i will get a stone off by xmas!

Food wise today has looked like this:
breakfast- fruit salad including kiwi, melon, mango, pineapple, blueberries and grapes.
    Lunch -super speed soup
    Dinner- chorizo pasta -5 syns
Snacks- 1 of DDs crispie cakes we made this afternoon. not sure on syns but was only small so not having any more syns to be sure.

Tomorrow i'm making sausage casserole in the slow cooker, bit apprehensive as do far i've not liked anything i've made in it so fingers crossed it turns out ok.

Right, i'm off to catch up with other posts.

Hi pat, hope you're getting on better now. i hate the stupid junk food/ comfort eat cycle. just need to reprogramme myself to not even go there lol.

Had a better week do far but now i'm full of cold. Going to fill up on lots of fruit and veg and i might even make a syn free tomato soup. Also going to go far a walk round the lakes later wrapped up, with hubby and dd. was going to go to the gym as well but don't feel up to it :(

Still hoping for a good number on the scales on tuesday!

    Hi there,

I'm new here, only been doing SW for 2 or 3 weeks now. Just popping in on a few people, saying hello :) I can't believe you've lost 5 stone altogether! That's so impressive and very inspiring. How long did that take you? I'm only wanting to lose about 2-3 stone so I'm so happy to see it does work for people! So far, so good for me... though I'm dreading weighing myself on Monday as I had a takeaway one night this week!

Hi chipmunk. i've been doing sw for about 15 months abd did ww for 6 weeks before that. i probably would have lost a lot nore by now but i've not stuck to plan 100%. It defo works, even with takeaways especially if you make the right choices. Thanks for your nice words and good luck with the plan, i'm sure you'll do fab!!!

I'm having a really rubbish day, been up since half 6 with DD and hubby finally decided to get up at 12 and has been a complete prick towards me and i'm so close to telling him to pack his bags its untrue! I'm also very close to reaching for the chocolate but i'm not going to, if i'm going to be a single parent soon which if things continue like this i can honestly see yhat happening then i'm not going to be a fat single parent! Aaaarrrrgggggghhhhhhhhh sorry just had to get that out before i do or eat something i regret!

Oh dear! *hugs* stresses like that never help :( I tend to reach for the chocolate in times like that too. Just think how guilty you'll feel afterwards though, its not going to make you feel any better! Stay strong :)

Thanks hun. i've been good and stayed on track and just had a freddo tonight. Me and hubby have cleared the air for now, we're just finding it harder than we thought we would living at my parents its not my parents its just not having our own space. plus skyes (dd) is playing up a lot more, i think its mostly her age but i think moving in here hasn't helped and shes poorly at the mo so not sleeping well. Just have to keep telling myself its not for long and we'll be in devon soon! Thanks hun xx
