My s&s adventures!

Hey...

So I've decided to start a diary! I've done exactly 6 weeks on s&s and have lost 37 lbs. that means I am exactly 19stone from 21 stone 9lbs. I'm really pleased but still a long way to go. My plan is to do another 6 weeks the refeed before my birthday then do another 6 weeks in the run up to Xmas then refeed again and eat low carb and healthy in the new year... Tho depending how I feel I might carry on with s&s :)

currently having a combination of 4 packs or 3 packs and a meal depending how I feel... I don't feel hungry so tend to eat when I'm with my bf just to be sociable!
 
Arrrrggghhhh... Just woken up to find water pouring in through my bathroom wall... Coming in through an outside vent.. Not good! Should be at work at 9 but don't want to leave it as will drip into my electrics! Can not believe its August!!!!
 
Morning!

I've decided it's time to start writing in this again!

I've not had the best few weeks weightless wise, lost a few lbs, 43lb in 11 weeks I think now but I've been messing about, lots of meals out etc...

Saw a thread on the main forum saying 12 weeks till Xmas eve today... So I've decided that's 12 weeks of sticking to the diet and hopefully getting rid of another 3 stone!

I've joined a gym and done quite a lot of swimming this last 2 weeks, planning on using the gym from tomorrow too.

I'm pretty sure I'm out of ketosis now so imagine I've got a tricky 3 days ahead but I've done it before so I'll be fine!

Hey :)

Not a bad day...

Had a banana shake for breakfast

Tuna salad for lunch from a sandwich shop as on a training day

Choc truffa bar before swimming
Choc shake after swimming

Spicy spag to have in a few mins!

Have swam 40 lengths... Think I might be sore tomorrow as I usually do 20!
 
Feel like I'm chatting to myself here...

A good day so far, not too sore from last night swimming. Busy busy day at work so hardly had time to think about food... Heading to Tesco now to pick up some photos so will try and avoid the good bit!

So far I've had a chocolate shake for breakfast and banana shake for lunch, not sure whether to try the mushroom pasta tonight... Not sure how brave I'm feeling!!!

You sound like you are doing great. Wish I could swim. 43 years old and never been taught, always meant to do to swimming lessons but after the shock of everyone seeing me in a swimming costume, I was always too scared. Do adults have to learn with arm bands? When I lose weight I do hope to learn cos I can go for free with my gym membership.
 
Awwww I'm sure you look fine! No one notices your under the water anyway... It's such good exercise :)

As for the arm bands.... Maybe floats ;-)
 
Hmmm... Just tried the mushroom pasta... Hmmm... Not really very sure!!! Definitely not my favourite!

I tend to weigh in on a Wednesday but didn't this morning... Will wait until next week and hopefully get a decent loss :)
 
I just had my first mushroom pasta (my first 'meal') and actually really enjoyed it! You are an inspiration.

Awww that's really sweet! I've been no angel... Was really disciplined the first few weeks but recently I've been out for meals and wine and been picking.. Not good!!!

But back to it 100% now!

Not the best day today... Diet wise not great either!

Had...

Vanilla shake with coffee for breakfast

So everything was going great.... Then missed my lunch break then had to rush out to do an unplanned home visit and spent afternoon and evening in a&e so no shake and no water between 2 and 7pm...

Got home just after 8 and had spicy spag pack mixed with mushrooms and some lean mince.. 100g which I know is strictly not on plan...

So now I'm sat here... Guess I'll have a cup of tea then go to bed!! Since I got home I've been filling in job app forms and now my brain hurts!

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!

I had a bit of a disappointing day... Got up to go swimming but when we got there the pool was shut as someone had "been ill" in it.... Not happy doesn't quite sum up my thoughts!!! They said it would be shut for 4 hours but then my bf was unwell so we decided not to go back... :-(

Just tried my first vanilla and almond bar.... Not impressed really :-(

So now I'm sat in my pjs watching recorded x factor thinking about taking the dog out...
 
a bit pants about the pool but you kept at it :)
 
Just a bit cross because I work until 7.30 on a Monday so I can't go until tuesday and my bf has not been to my new pool yet so would have been nice... Ah well nevermind :)

I do not like the vanilla almond bar, I bit one the other day and left it at one bite..
how do you find the exercise with your appetite? I tend to exercise when ive eaten things I didnt plan to..and I eat a bit more on wednesdays when I do spin class
 
Hi :)

I find if I swim later in the day I feel much better, on sat I did an hours swim after just one shakes as I'd been busy and I felt really awful... All shakey and sick... I'll not be doing that again... Will always make sure I have some protien before I go and maybe take a shake or bar for after!

Luckily they sold high protien low carb low fat shakes so I had one of those as an emergency measure!!

How are things going for you?
