My SW food diary - Mostly Green and some EE

I know but it will get to me all week I know it! X
 
How strange for two different sets of scales to weigh so differently. 1.5lb is still great though - lose that every week and it's over 2.5 stone in 6 months.

It'll catch up next week - be pleased, you only feel disappointed compared to your own scales. It's actually a good loss
 
I know and I never seen it as 2.5st in 6m, although I do for myself a goal of 1lb at least a week! Maybe I should stop weighing at home!? Back on it today though

Breakfast
Hb & ha cheese bread and coleslaw (3syn) (it's what I fancied?!)

That's the secret though to get right back on it the next day. Always my downfall in the past to think that one bad day makes a bad week .. A bad month ... Etc!

Day 10

Breakfast:
Grapes
Lidl Linessa pear yoghurt (2.5 syns)
35g Jordan's muesli (HEB 1)

Lunch:
One slice wholemeal toast from 800g loaf (4 syns - got carried away thinking I was on a green day!)
Topped with mushrooms fried in fry light

Dinner:
Was eating with guests so not so syns bit out of control!
Smoked salmon & salad (2 syns vinaigrette)
Beef casserole (4 syns as red wine in sauce)
Roasted jacket potatoes (2 syns for olive oil)
Roasted veg (4 syns for olive oil)
Red cabbage (2 syns for brown sugar)
30g piece of cheese (HEA 1)

Total syns = 20.5 (whoops!)
 
Day 11

Breakfast:
Chopped pear
Low fat natural yoghurt with cinnamon sprinkled on top

Lunch:
Banana
Walked up a hill to burn off yesterday's extra's - pedometer says 7000 steps (3.2 miles) and equivalent of 46 floors climbed. Expect to feel it in my legs tomorrow!

Dinner:
Oven baked tomato, vegetable and prawn risotto (HEB 1 for prawns)
30g grated Parmesan (HEA 1)
Lidl Linessa pineapple yoghurt (2.5 syns)

Snack:
3 cups of team with semi skimmed milk (4 syns)
Homemade 60g wholemeal roll (HEB 2)
30g cheese (HEA 2)

Total syns = 6.5

No breakfast (bad I know)

Fruit salad

How did you make your risotto? mines is always full of cheese and wine - not very healthy!

This one was:

Fry spring onions and red onion in fry light
Add peppers and frozen peas
Add cooked king prawns
Add tin of chopped tomatoes
Add tin (as measure) of veg stock
Add 1 tin (as measure) of rice
Season - I added some Jamaican jerk seasoning
Cook in oven 190 for 20 mins stirring halfway through

Just work on principal of double liquid to rice and 20 mins in oven and you can experiment with flavours
 
Day 12

Breakfast:
Grapes
Lidl Linessa yoghurt (2.5 syns)
30g Jordan's muesli (HEB 1)

Lunch:
Left over Oven baked tomato, vegetable and prawn risotto (HEB 2 for prawns)
Clementine

Dinner:
Wholemeal roll (7.5 syns)
30g cheese (HEA 1)
Apple
Pear
Clementine
Dinner was while driving in the car to a meeting

Snacks:
Tea with semi skimmed milk (HEA 2)

Total syns = 10

I never used to eat breakfast ever. But reckon that was my downfall as had toast with lashings of butter and cheese at 11. I have had breakfast for two weeks now and feel much better for it

Lunch:
One slice 800g wholemeal bread toasted
Topped with half a can of beans and a fried egg
Side salad of lettuce, tomato and cucumber
Clementine

Dinner:
Mince and tatties with peas
Potatoes mashed with Philly extra light (HEA)
Bisto in mince (2 syns)

Snacks:
Apple
Clementine
Tea with milk (4 syns)

Total syns = 6

When a stressful day work n home it's a release thing for me to just grab! Ok when I've had it! Better than a bottle of wine eh!!
 
I love penguins too! can never just have one though - have been known to eat 6 in a day (gulp!) They're one of those things I just can't have in the house I think!

Yeah I just can't stop!

Lost 1lb this week, I'm not going to get too disappointed with myself over a 1lb loss now tho, like I do in the past!
