New to Dukan diet

    Hi I'm new to the dukan diet ,I started 10 days ago now. I did attack for 7 days (stuck to)and lost 6lbs.
    I'm now pv/pp cruising. I thought I would create this diary to keep myself on track as this morning my weight went up instead of down :((. I'm normally a cambridge diet devotee and find this diet very different, the good thing is I am never hungry really....and do wonder if I am eating enough ??

    Anyway,if anyone wants to comment on my foods/diaries please do and tell me where I am going right or wrong .i am also open to anyone sending me any nice recipes !

    Today's pv day :

    Breakfast: vanilla fat free yog with 2tbsp oatbran mixed in
    Lunch: little yeo valley yogurt pot
    Drinks: 2x cans Pepsi max,latte made with skim milk,1.5-2l water with cambridge flavouring
    Late lunch/early dinner. Cooked chicken with bbq spice on,steamed courgette chunks and about 6 cherry tomatoes
    Snacks. 2 slices of ham,chewing gum

    Yay hello you!! Hope your ok! Day looks good the only thing to watch is ham as it's salty so you can hold water, also try asparagus, works wonders for weight loss and makes you wee loads lol!!

    Hi purple!!

    nice to see you've got a diary :) keep going!!!! I'm getting into fish at the mo, because I get a bit sick of the amount of chewing you do espesh on PP days, but fish is a lot more easier to digest :)

    Today's food:

    B-0% vanilla yogurt with 2 tbsp oat bran

    L- ham slices,turkey slices,0% cottage cheese
    Drinks- 2 cans Pepsi max,1.6l water with cambridge flavouring

    D- omelette made with 3 eggs and herbs. Layer of quark,layer of smoked salmon. Bloody delicious!

    Snacks -2 gherkins

    Another rubbish morning on the scales as I'm not losing weight. States the same,5 lb down currently. Wondering when I get back to the 6lbs loss that I was at end of attack. Will review the whole situation at end of the week

    Food looks really nice today purple... Keep going & as you say review at end of the week...hope you have a nice surprise...are you feeling any different body wise?

    This morning my ketostix shot to a vibrant pink/purple colour, so finally it confirms I am ketotic. I got all excited and went to weigh myself to find once again the same

    I honestly really don't get it !

    Today's pv menu was :

    B- oatbran mixed with yogurt and microwaved into a yummy porridge
    Drinks - 2 cans diet coke,2.5l water
    Snacks-5 cherry tomatoes ,vanilla cream,lemon sponge
    L- out for lunch-> salmon piece and veg (asparagus ,tablespoon of peas and broccoli?
    D- 2 low fat sausages and smidge of mustard. Cucumber chopped up in vinegar and pepper.

    I also did a load of cooking and made 6 galettes for the week,vanilla cream pudding and lemon sponge. Was pleased with them all !

    Finally had a loss this morning of 1lb,ketostix show I have left ketosis (what a brief spell that was).

    Sponge recipe delicious! i did the lemon one .Thanks for that:D

    Nice seeing your losses're well into the 12's....nice feeling

    i read that your adding Cambridge flavourings to your it just flavourings or is it protein filled or something?

    Fab :) if it makes water taste nicer! I find the water tough some days & easier others. When I'm not on the dukan I'm not a big water all...if I don't start getting it down me early in the day, I'm knackered....but he says if you don't drink the correct amount of water it won't work.... So we just keep of glugging!! Xxx

    I find the water on dukan easy compared to cambridge which was 4l a day

    Todays pp day:

    B- galette with vanilla yogurt
    L-prepacked chicken,sponge
    Snacks-gherkin,vanilla cream (lovvvve it)
    Drinks-1 skim milk latter,can pepsi max,2l water with cambridge flavouring
    D-prepacked roast chicken slices with garlic and rosemary spice on

    Not my most adventurous of days !
    will do measurements tomorrow an see what they have to say !!!!

    Been out for the night.....drank about another 3l water ,had about a can of diet coke and ended up having a bbq dinner of :
    2x sausages (who only knows what is in them)
    Butternut squash and feta bits
    So I guess my day turned pv! I hope it does not totally bugger up for tomorrow and mondays official 2 week weigh. Although have been weeing allllll night
