new to the atkins diet

    Hi im new to this atkins diet and dont know what to expect i have the book and shopping book but its all going over my head

    Im starting stage one tomorrow and not sure what to eat fof breakfast as i dont have time to cook iv seen breakfast muffins and bread resapies on here so gonna make them coz they seam easy

    So im really just asking for advice on what i can expect and just some advice plus friends would help alot!

    Hi bex and welcome to the forum... You'll get lots of advice on here from lots of really friendly folk... You could have hard boiled eggs with ham and Mayo for breakfast if you don't have time to cook - there's lots of other ideas - take a look at the diaries as menus are posted there... But the Atkins breakfast fry up is definitely worth finding time to do...

    Thanks im thinking of makung flax bread and pre cooking bacon so i have instant bacon buttys in the morning

    Yeah think i will have a good rumage though the resapie lists

    :)

    Welcome Bex - having stuff ready to eat is always a good plan.

    You could try making up omelettes and breakfast quiches beforehand too.

    Hi Bex, I highly recommend a crustless quiche from the recipes thread. I used the second one and tweaked it a bit to suit. It can be frozen in individual slices, I have it for breakfast or take it to work with a salad x

    Thanks guys been making omlates everynight ready for the next morning so much better then flaxseed muffins wasnt really keen on them
