Newbie starting today!

Hi all,

I'm new to Exante and new to MiniMins! Started exante today and hoping to lose 3 and a half stone on it to be within what is a normal BMI for me.

Have serial dieted all my adult life. The last diet was weight watchers and I found their forums a good support mechanism so I thought I would join minimins this time. Looking forward to meeting new peeps here and giving and receiving support.

Hey All, :D Newby here

First day of Exante (total solution) & new to MM. I have never dieted before, this is my first one!

Hoping too lose 2 stone...currently 11st 3Ib :( would like to be 9!

Had a shake & bar soo far and soon will be having my last meal replacement of the day!
Been drinking lots of water (I am not a water person) as heard the first few days you can get a heavy head and dehydrated...Basically just thrown myself straight into the deep end LOL Hope it pays off!!!

Great to see some more newbies! Good luck everyone, we can all do this and support each other along the way.

I am having to cook for others this evening so am saving my last meal of the day for afterwards. I know I won't be tempted if I know I have something to eat when the cooking is done. Been on the water all day too - feel like I am drowning here.
 
Aww that's great so many people starting together.

So got my packs and thought I would try the peanut butter bar. I couldn't eat it I got like 6 of them because I love peanut butter and chocolate but it was so heavy!!

I hope everyone has a great week

Wohoo ...great to see more peeps starting! Day 2...so far so good :):) No hunger pains, not feeling the hunger either - Iv been doing the 20mins advised daily exercise... is anyone else? I don't go to the gym just on the bike at home an lots of walking...any other suggestions?

Btw...I have started to get dry lips (think thats the dehydration kicking in :/) but I am drinking water like never before lol

@sybersadie - I have to cook for others too I made the mistake of having the last meal before I cooked for the rest...next time il wait till after so i can eat too lol

@Salli-10 - it def works leaving your last meal til after you have cooked for others. That way you know you have something to eat when they are eating.
@Gezza_B - sorry today wasnt good. Fresh start tomorrow.

OK but been feeling awful...light headed , funny tummy....I did pick at some ham....its v hard for me as I have a v active four year old otherwise I would just be able to sit and chill through it ...how you doing?
 
@sybersadie - Thankyou - defo gunna wait till after from now on! Although lastnights meal was a massive disappointment. I had the pasta was absolutely awful, I literally forcefed myself half because determind to stick, trying the shepherds pie tonight hope thats better. How's it going for u?

Raspberry white Choc bar are my fav and love all the shakes so far.

Iv had the porridge today was ok (do you think its ok to add sweetners?) Im sure they have no calories. I feel crappy today :( TOM (sorry TMI) but its the 3rd day and got to keep going even tho im craving chocolate or some comfort food.

@Gezza_B - Aww nm - New Day, New Start Just don't give up it will get better, apparently takes 2-3days before your body gets used to the change.
@Midnightluna - Aww bless you, its understandable, drink plenty of water that will keep you hydrated and settle the stomach, are you on the total solution 3 meals per day? theres a 4meals one which may be a better option for that extra energy.

@Salli-10 so far the meals are ok, if a little bland and I am managing to eat them. The only meal I didn't really like was the cheese and bacon egg thing - don't know whether it was how i made it up or what but it wasn't good.
The two bars I have had so far are good. Had my first shake this morning and it was ok but I wasn't that impressed.
Don't know about having sweetener, but I suppose the calories are nil so you are not really adding in much.
 
Your taste buds seem to change after you have been on the diet for a while. At first I had a banana milk shake and I hated the taste but after 2 weeks I tried it again and its actually very nice.

I have ordered 1 of the bacon and cheese egg thing as I am fancying an omelette so thought id just buy a single one before I decided to jump in and buy loads lol.

How is your week all going girls I see that a few of you started on Monday so will soon be weigh in day. I started on Monday 4th January, so determined to get on the diet after new year. Up to today I have lost 1 stone which is pretty good going for 2.5 weeks on a diet.

Good luck with your first weekend and look for ward to hearing the fab losses on Monday.

I tried the shepards pie was ok...I prefer the shakes and the bars and sticking to the porridge for now before I anymore meals as they are abit off putting (maybe just my taste buds)

Hope rest of you ladies doing ok :) Im dreading the weekend because Iv got a party - I'l be taking a shake & Bar...No drinks either :/ oh no lol
 
Wow MissBlueEyes a stone in 2.5 weeks - that amazing. I am usually a daily weigher but have resisted the temptation. I know I have def lost as my clothes feel less tight so looking forward to my first weigh in too.

that's fab that your clothes are getting loose, before we know it our clothes will be too big to wear :) weigh in day for me tomorrow and its a star week so not sure how that will go but sticking to the plan
