.Nicki. - time flies.

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best news for my bestie and bestie hubby! Yipppeeeee!

Now you have to admit that's been the biggest black cloud hanging over you both for quite some time, but the worst is over now. He's gonna be absolutely fine, and YOU have to stop worrying about him!

I know there's other stuff going on, but none of it can compare with hubbys and your health.

Really pleased for you xx

Yes i have to admit that it was the biggest black cloud and its gone, i even slept for 8hours last night in bed (i've been on the sofa for 2 nights) I don't feel so down anymore and i think i've come up with an idea of how to get the money for the bike but hubby would go nuts, selling my engagement ring, i don't wear it because its too big for me and it would pay for most of it, not sure i could sell it though.
I've lost another 1lb so i've lost a stone in 3 weeks :D

Hi bestie,
Glad to hear you're sleeping better xx

I know its not really my place to say, but I'm going to cos I think we're pretty good friends now, but I totally disagree with selling your ring. I think that not only will you upset and hurt hubby, you would really regret selling it. That ring is special to you both, whether you wear it or not. It symbolises a special time between you and is irreplaceable.

But that's just my opinion hun xx. I don't want you to rush into anything. I know how desperately you want this bike...but is it really worth upsetting the person you love most over it? Xx

Ok, I'm sounding really bossy now, sorry xx. I don't mean to...just worried xxx

Ooh...nearly forgot to say well done on your loss! Xx

I know you're right just running out of ideas really  Maybe i should sell cuddles with maisie :D
Oh i forgot to say she's learnt a new trick, if i call nom noms she runs to the fridge awaiting me to produce cucumber :rotflmao:

That rabbit sounds really funny :)

I have to agree with Dawn about the engagement ring. You can't sell it behind hubbies back cos you would hurt him so much. If you both discuss it and decide that's what you both want to do that's ok. But you really need to talk to him about it.

I hope I don't sound bossy. I just don't want to see you get hurt.

Just quickly popping on to say my lovely mummy offered to lend me the money for my bike and hubby is going to help me a little so i can get a bike i love rather then just the cheap one, i'm very excited but a bit scared now.

Hey Mini's,
Sorry been MIA again, been working all weekend and yesterday was my first 10 1/2 hour shift, it was so bad but i was so tired. Luckily its my day off today but i have the dentist, first time in 10 years i might add. I'm making hubbs come with me though, i'm terrified i'm going to get stuck in the chair

Sooooo the exciting bit, i have chosen a bike but not ordered it yet as i need a little bit more money so got to wait till pay day
lexmoto_tommy_white.jpg

It comes registered and taxed which a lot of the others didn't, which is the main selling point really. Just have to wait for my license to come back and then i can do the training and then i'll be on the road! I've decided to go with white because it comes with a free back box (the pink doesnt  ) and hubbs is going to get me some pretty stickers for cars so i can make it more me!

Right off to catch up!

Shame you can't charge the dentist for a late cancellation like they do to us if we cancel :8855:

The bike looks good. How long do you have to wait until you have all the money and the training. That sounds really nosey but what I mean is when do you think will be the first time you get to ride it :)

Depends how long they take to send my license back as i had to change the address. Prob be riding it by mid August, so not to long

Jealous! Like, big time. Until they let you put a child seat on the back, I can't have one :(

Looks lovely Nic, truly, I love it!

How did the new plan go today? Of all the time I've been doing WW, I'm actually finding I'm enjoying calorie counting. I think it will take a while to stop mentally counting points in the back of my head, but I really do believe this is my answer to maintaining properly now, which I have found so hard to do with WW.

Have a great evening darl xxx

Its going ok actually although i haven't counted anything today, feels pretty liberating to be doing my own thing, just hope it works.

I'm tempted to get this one, i love the colour just don't no if i want to stand out that much

So i asked the mods to move my diary to the silver members section because i'm really not following slimming world anymore and was kind of feeling a little out of place. I haven't had my head in the diet game since losing the baby and although i have no desire to get back into it, I know i have to. I also didn't want to start another diary so i thought moving it was easier and i hope my very good friends from the slimming world forum will find me over here.

I've decided that after a decade of dieting and following different plans, I have enough knowledge to do my own thing. I'm going to use myfitnesspal to track calories, just to know i'm eating enough really but not really aiming for an amount but try and stay under their target.

I WANT A BIKE LIKE THAT!!!!

OMG i lurve both the bikes when you say a box how big is it chuck...is it like a helmet box..now my OH mentioned me getting somat similar the other day but i dont really do helmets (cos of da fuzz top)

Thanks for the add on MFP as well hunny and welcome to silver section..you will be well at home ere..:)

Hi Bestie :flowers:

Oh I love BOTH of those bikes!!!

Really hard decision...I don't know how you're going to choose hun!!!

Stickers are a definite yes...I'm thinking bunnies and flowers...

How's my little niece btw...is she behaving herself? :bunnydance: xx

Oh my Dayz! I adore the pink one, but this is the one that comes without the box, right? Grrr, major decisions to be had Nic. I'd be tempted to go for the white WITH the box and then save up enough to get a respray, or would it be cheaper to buy the box?...... :p

One thing I have noticed tracking with MFP is that my sugar intake is higher...... And my sat fat intake is lower...... Than when I am working to WW vintage points. This really doesn't bother me though, as long as I can get within, or as close to calories allowed per day AND I don't start getting heartburn again, then I think it's safe.

Totally understand your thinking about moving to Silver Section. When I got to goal, I felt like a bit of a spare prune sitting in Weight Watchers Weight Loss diary section, but everyone who is subscribed will find you anayway :)

Your picture on MFP BTW is bloody lovely!! :) xxx

I found out the box was a black one, it doesn't actually match the bike  Thanks, I don't love the photo myself but its one of my better ones.

I'm not sure how big it is really, i think it is for a helmet so must be fairly big.
You could always get a hat to wear after you've taken the helmet off :D

I've found some lovely pink and purple flowers and one a sticker sign that says 'powered by fairydust'
She's monsterous and now waits by the fridge for goodies as well as destroying her box and blankets but she is as cute as ever.

I've found a few things out about where that bike was from and now not so sure i want to get it from there, esp because its so far away if there is a problem. So i'm waiting on an email about a few others and will keep you updated.
I've also noticed good and bad things about these 10 1/2 hours monster shifts, apart from being a long old day, when i get home i've got just enough time to eat before i fall into bed, no snackage time. Although i went to bed at 8.30 and woke up at 4am, which is annoying but at least i get to update my diary. Just need to get through today and tomorrow and then i have 4 days off. Have a great day xx

Mornin bestie,
Naughty little Maisie! But she's so adorable lol!
Well you're doing the right thing by shopping around for the bike hun. It's well worth a bit of research before committing yourself and your money to one. Wish I knew something about them so I could help you but I know nothing! All I would say is trust your instincts, and if it doesn't feel right then best to leave it alone xx.
Those shifts are pretty long aren't they? You'll have to keep reminding yourself that it will all be worth it on pay day xx
Lots of love xx
