Step 1 Sole Source No more messing-this is it! :-)

Glad to hear you're feeling brighter. It's a great feeling to know that sooner or later the weight will be gone. :) x

Yes wigglybunny, its a brill feeling! Have just mentioned on another post that when I'm at home, I love the simplicity of the plan. I don't need to add a blob of mayo, a slice or 2 of bread, an extra few bits of pasta, I just get my packs and that's it. It is hard some days but I love feeling that I'm actually in control of my eating. It makes me feel that I'm more in control of my life too :) x

Well, day 9 almost over and I'm delighted to say that I've had another 100% day. Was at a wee course tonight for 2 hours and I resisted sweets and biccies every time the plate went past me. Was very liberating to realise that I didn't want them :) although I would love a big fillet steak and mushrooms or some fresh bread and real butter :) yum!! Roll on hitting target so I can have these things in moderation!!! X

Well day 11 almost over and have still been 100%. Felt really hungry the past 2 days but thankfully I've made it through and the following morning I'm always grateful that I've resisted as I know I would probably beat myself up mentally for giving in and maybe not get back on track again.

Feeling fantastic in other ways, so much energy and my PND 'fog' has lifted. I feel like I've been reborn and I'm so upbeat and happy-deliriously happy sometimes-is there such thing as a Ketosis high?

Have church in the morning again in my own church and they use butter shortbread and wine for communion so I will opt for the tiniest wee bit and hope for the best-hopefully God will be with me on that one lol

X

There defo is...I get it too. :) it isn't completely permanent tho but I defo still feel much better on the whole. Glad things are going well and best of luck with the shortbread. ;) lucky your congregation tho...I've only had nasty wafer! ;) xx

Lol Wigglybunny, we've a very small congregation so they tend to push the boat out a little :)

Day 12 was a planned SS+ day as I was going out for a meal for my sister in laws birthday. I had pre ordered a chicken fillet and green salad and I have to say that it didn't really annoy me watching everyone else tuck into their greasy chips and big desserts. Really enjoyed eating but was starving the rest of the day. Came home and had a shake followed by a soup an hour later. Had my usual 4l of water :-/ hope I don't feel as hungry today. If so, ill just have to up my water.

Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. Hopefully my wee eating day yesterday won't have made too much difference on the scales, but I am feeling a wee but bloated as TOTM is only a few days away (which might also account for me feeling a bit more hungry)

Back to normal for day 13. Gutted my bedroom out and got rid of loads of stuff. Got a really good clean too :) hunger has subsided a bit - had a strawberry shake at 1pm, a vanilla shake as a weak cappuccino at 7pm and a chick soup at 10 when I got home from Pilates.

Kids still off school today so am getting up and taking the kids to the park while the weather is dry (its to rain later :-/ ) and we'll take a picnic. Finding it a lot easier to cook for the family now and have got myself out of the habit of picking at food when I cook :)

Looking forward to weigh in today at 4.15. Hopefully have a few pounds off even though I feel a bit bloated with TOTM due

Omg 15lbs in week 1 is awesome. See what happens when you are 100% ( which is something I have never been able to do not even in week 1, I had tuna) you have proved you can go out with family and still socialise and make a really good choice which will have no affect on your weight loss. Having an ss+ day, that's why I love this plan its so flexible, I go up and down the steps depending on what's going on in my day.
I pmsl at the yogurt post, haha scraping it off your tongue. What u like, anyhoo good luck for today's WI :)

Day 13 was pretty uneventful. Lay in bed til 11am on this forum, Facebook and *********!! Then got up and gave my room a really good clean. Had first shake at 1pm. Visited my granny and my sister in law ,which always involves cakes, buns etc, but I stuck to my guns and had 2 cups of black tea. Ice cream can came round and got kids a wee screwball each and managed to resist.

Had vanilla shake as a very weak cappuccino , went to Pilates and came home to another shake. All 100% and although I'm having loads of hunger pangs, I'm still feeling very positive and am sort of in the mindset that its important to do this for my few wee conditions that I have, and I can notice a big difference already in all three. I do think sugar and yeast have a lot to answer for.....

Today I had weigh in and was only expecting maybe 2lb off but shock of my life when I had 8lb off!!! 23lb in 2weeks. I'm not expecting a loss next week as it will be TOTM and I retain loads of water, but I'm so so delighted with almost 2 stone off in 2weeks :) hopefully ill have the 2 stone off the the end of the first 4 weeks. I even had a SS+ day which was planned :) that might be the way to go every week just to give myself a wee metabolism boost. We'll see...... :)

Awesome hunni, its all mindset and you get amazing results. Well a wee well done for you chick :applaud :)

Thanks guys :)

Haven't been on in a few days to update here, but pleased to say that I'm still 100% :) was a bit worries about this week and TOTM is due to arrive tomorrow or Sunday but so far I haven't had any urges to binge on chocolate etc. I've actually been quite good and I have to admit I've found this week easier.

I'm not expecting a big loss this week with 2 fab losses in my first 2 weeks, but I'd love to hit my 2stone by my week 4 weigh in. Would give me hope that by the end of my first 12 weeks I could be 4 stone down! That would be amazing and that's what is propelling me on.

Have a few social things coming up, but at friends houses and my own. As much as I'd love to hide away until I lose weight, its not fair on my hubby and kids, so were going to a BBQ on Sunday, which I may have a planned SS+ day or just have a mix a mousse. And I have a Saturday and Sunday where we have people coming round for food, so that may also be the plan then. The the people are close friends and know that I'm on this plan, so it makes the choice a lot easier.

Weather here in Northern Ireland has taken a wee turn for the worse and we have rain today, after 2 glorious days, so I'm going to get stuck into cleaning to try to burn off a few cals before I get my wee man from nursery :)

Here's to another 100% day :)

Had to resort to a SS+ day today and have a warm chick salad. Period on its way and I know its better than choc or biccies. Feel so bad eating but it was just a small dry panfried breast and some leaves, mushrooms and a wee bit of cucumber. Had some balsamic and black pepper too. Really tasty and really satisfied me :)

Had to make hubs and kids real chips and sw chick kebab meat with a 'fake away' chicken gravy and taco sauce. Its my favourite SW meal!! That was hard :-( think I deserve loads of brownie points from hubby lol

Hopefully tomorrow will be easier, but I'm so glad I didn't resort to junk food x

Hi chick!
Well done you. Hard to cook for others and stick to the plan. Bit of chicken is better than junk you could have succumbed to. Good job :)

I'm day one, Cambridge. 4 stone to lose :-/

Thanks :) am finding today harder too. Just in my first product of the day. Having the chicken soup as its quite cold today (or that may just be the Ketosis speaking lol)

Going out in the afternoon to look at caravans with the hubby and then we're heading out tonight for a boogie and a glass of wine (water for me) so the exercise will do me the world of good :)

Have you tried cambridge before? This is my first attempt and in actually quite surprised at myself for doing it. Still shocked that its been over 3 weeks from my last piece of junk food.

I found the first 3 day ok, then the next few a bit harder, and have been great until Friday, but know by Monday again ill be fine. I find keeping yourself busy and drinking plenty of water helped me loads :) x

Get yourself sparkling water tonight. Then pretend it's something more exciting. I pretend its champagne! As for the dancing... Go for it chick!

I've done Cambridge before but had to stop after few weeks because I was in training for marathon and triathlons. I needed carbs to train. I cd feel the results of Cambridge and loved it. I need to be strict with myself and Cambridge offers that.

Put on so much weight that ill have to start my fitness from scratch so I won't need high carb food for a while :)

Make sure you are good tonight. I'll be thinking of you!

Well, after having a really good Saturday, I have picked all day Sunday and Monday (albeit chicken and cucumber, but still disappointed in myself that I couldn't stick to SS. Definitely going to do it this week. Weigh job today, so hopefully have a lb or so off. So pleased with my previous weigh ins, so can't really expect a big loss this week.

Great results so far and even your 'picking' is on SS+ so I'm sure you will be fine x

Just back in from weigh in expecting a lb and have lost 5lb this week. So shocked as I've been nibbling a bit :) that's my 2 stone in 3 weeks. I'm total proof that it can be done as I was/am a binge eater. The biggest thing that I've learned is that it is ok to be hungry-ill not pass out or die or fade away to nothing. I've also learned that I can drink my shake/water while others are eating. Hopefully I can carry that with me through my cambridge journey and remember it in the future :)
