October Challenge!

Well I've just realised that I've put myself forward for the biggest target this month. Feel like I've thrown myself to the wolves lol especially since I seem to be stuck right now, but hey-ho, WI in two hours. I'll just have to see how it goes. I mixed up Green/EE/Red this week, so maybe that is just the kickstart I needed...

Gah I wish I was weighing in tonight, dying to see how I've managed this week esp as TOTM kicked in just as I got started, grrr.

Soooo tempted to get digital scales, mine are crappy mechanical ones and I can never see any difference in pounds cos I'm blind as a bat! I'd be interested to watch out for things like water retention so I know to drink more water etc.

In fact...I'm currently picking up my eldest from afterschool club, think we might have a quick detour to Tesco.....

Oooooooh....I got the scales and had a cheeky peek. Won't give away what they said til actual WI cos we all know how much things can fluctuate in a day or two. Suffice to say I was VERY happy with what it indicated, plus hugely shocked cos Ive been using almost all my syns and eating good full meals :) :)

It was the first week back on plan since returning from holiday in Florida, where I put on 6lb. So it's just holiday weight coming off really. Been eating home made stir fry, chilli con carne and chicken and bacon salads all week. It also help being a man ( according to the wife anyway).

First of all can I say congrats to Natterjack think positive and try not to stress hun. Secondly thanks to Sheanin for updating and adding me to the list. I had asked to be added and when I hadnt been I was beginning to think I couldnt join in as id not done enough postings lol. Now I know why, so once again thank you and - Natterjack good luck x
 
Lost 2lb tonight. Not exactly as much as I was hoping for, but it's a loss!

Well done to everyone else who's lost, and good luck to those still to report in!
 
Oh hey... just realised I got my 4st! haha... see I started out at 18st the week before I joined SW, and lost 3lb that week, so I'm always 3lb ahead of SW...
 
Well done Mandy, 2lbs is a great loss and 4st, wow! How long has that taken?

No probs for doing list guys, I was at a loose end and figured I'd muck in, new or not, as long as nobody minds. Mazza still needs adding mind you and I'm on my phone - will try to get time in morning for any updates that need doing.

Might as well come out and admit that I have a possible binge trigger tomorrow...I'll be doing my damnest not to eat emotionally though. It's a long story but I have a pretty important hospital appointment for my daughter. She's meeting a new spinal specialist as we have a lot of surgery coming up for her, both hips and corrective spinal surgery, teensy bit stressful/overwhelming. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a coper, always plough on through regardless but I'm aware that the emotional side of things might tempt me into a 'bad day'...so this is me saying publically that I will do my best not to give on and that even if I do, it isnt the end of the world or a reason to give up!

Can I join in too please? I'm a Tuesday weigh in so would like to lose 10lbs, lost 4lbs at weigh in tonight (but only cos I couldn't weigh in last week) so 6lbs to go, I would have aimed higher but I'm working away next week which can be difficult. Thanks.
