Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

Hope everything went according to plan

Yes was a good trip down to Portsmouth and over to IOW. We went to Cowes and had a big bowl of rather peppery carrot & coriander soup with bread. Onto Newport for a while then booked into hotel. Walked into Old Shanklin for some supper.... I had a smoked Haddock & spinach Florentine and a dessert.

Ordered a veggie breakfast this morning... yummy!

Thanks... has been a nice day except Joseph ate scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for breakfast... 1/2hr later he was feeling really ill. He thinks it was the salmon. He's seen many toilets today and was sick too. Poor Joseph.
We did have a nice lunch at East Cowes at the Marina.
It was a beetroot & goats cheese burger etc.
Weather is hot and walking has caused my ankles & knees to swell so we came back early so I could rest. I did all the driving today... which may not have helped.

Yes we're generally having a lovely time. Just want to do lots but not here for very long

We called in at a big craft place this morning and bought 2 slices of chocolate brownies with peanuts!! We ate them this afternoon... and later had some scones, raspberry jam and clotted cream. Joseph skipped the cream but I didn't!!

sadly its very grey here! hope its better where you are Janet and that things are going better today

Thanks... Yes was a cooler breeze today but still plenty of sunshine.
We went to Carisbrook castle which was so interesting. Then onto
Godshill for some lunch. Finally down to Ventnor. We've walked a lot again today... I sort of ricked my ankle (3rd time) walking on something uneven!! My shoes are not the most supportive footwear.

Lunch... cauliflower & leek crumble. Downsized cream tea... only one scone!!
And a new bag that Joseph bought me as a present in Godshill.
Thankfully he's felt much better today. We talked to the hotel lady at breakfast but couldn't really identify what had upset him.
