Congratulations on getting to target. Well done!
I'm surprised at your consultant but I can say that my consultants (there's been a couple) have been great with target members. We get a lot of advice and support and are seen as valuable members of the group, the consultant wants us there!
In short, you increase your healthy extras until you find a balance. Some people can have 4 or 5 of each a day, some can only have an extra one or two. However......
I personally like to stick to plan most of the week and have a day off over the weekend, or a meal out. That is not to say I fill my face with rubbish but I will have extra bread, a bit of chocolate or a pudding etc. I also have maybe an extra B choice through the week but don't overdo it!
Your consultant is there to help you as a target member as much as she is there to help those losing weight. Don't be fobbed off, if you need help, ask for it.
