I'm pee'd off
We went shopping today for some clothes and bit n pieces then went to the dentist. Afterwards I wanted to nip to Tesco's and B&Q and I'd promised DD something to eat after the dentists as she was 'starving'. We went to go to the cafe in Tesco's but it's a starbucks now. A couple of mangy looking wraps and sndwiches with some weird fillings which did not interest DD at all. So I spots a hot deli section at the back of the store and decide that I could just pick at a chicken portions and the others could have a sandwich and bag of crisps. Got to the deli counter and there's no chicken only BBQ spares ribs and big cumberland sausages. So I now decide to hunt down some pasta salad but can't find anything without mayonnaise in it. I chose some healthy choice ham (free) and ask an employee for some tomato based pasta salad. We finally find some (this all took 30mins for me to find something to eat) and we go out to eat it in the sunshine.
I've just got home and went on the syns online to work out any syns and the pot of pasta salad was 14.5 syns for the pot :cry: I ate 2/3 of it....luckily, but I'm gutted and pee'd off. Why is it so hard to eat well when caught on the hop?
BTW, I knew I had a HeB I could use, but for tea tonight I had pork and apple burgers planned with SW chips and so I wanted to keep the HeB for the bun Now I realise it would have been better to have had the sandwich and just syn'd the bun for tonight :sigh:
