Ok so you need to use HEXAs for this really else u need to syn it

Serves 2:
300ml semi skimmed milk
Low fat grated cheese
Peas, Broccoli, Cauliflower
Smash Powder
Mustard

In a saucepan add milk and 1 tbsp mustard plus 2 tbsp smash powder, stir gently to remove any lumps, heat up until bubbling and starts to thicken then remove from heat and stir in all but one handful of grated cheese.

In separate saucepan bring to boil and add sliced potato, peas cauliflower and broccoli, cook for aroun 5 mins

Get a casserole dish and stir veggies and SOME (not all) potato carefully into saucepan and transfer to casserole dish. Place sliced potato on top of casserole dish and sprinkly over remaining cheese.

Cook on 220 degrees in oven for 20 - 25 mins.

Serve straight from casserole dish and NOM!
 
just have just got to say mmmmmmm , were you aware that many of us off the 'Total food replacement diets ' pages come over here to drool at all the yummy pictures of food ( food porn we call it ) ??? I am now 14 lb from my target weight and will soon be moving onto SW to maintain my weight and this thread is like looking at the future of my plates .... mmmmm :D


Ahaha I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does this!
I'm just restarting on a tfr diet so I have ages to go yet but I love coming on this thread to look at all the yummy food.
I'll also be moving over to slimming world when I reach my target weight.

Everyones food here looks amazing, it's great that you can eat such lovely stuff and still lose weight!
 
OH NO!!!! I made this rice pudding, ate it, and forgot to take a pic. Now I'm just going to have to make another batch so I don't let you all down LOL

Slow cooker rice pudding - 6 syns the lot or a HE A section on Extra Easy and Green plans

200g/7oz uncooked short grained pudding rice
450ml water
3 eggs, beaten
350ml skimmed milk mixed with 100ml cold water (1 HE A or 6 syns)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 tsp low salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
sweetner to taste

Place rice and 450ml water into a pan, bring to the boil then simmer for 25-30 minutes or until the rice is cooked.

Set slow cooker to high and pour in the milk and water mix, the beaten eggs, salt, nutmeg, vanilla extract and the
cooked rice. Mix, place on the lid and cook for 2 hours.

The mixture should look like it has set, give it a stir and add enough sweetner to taste. (If you add the sweetner earlier
it tastes bitter)

Gorgeous hot, and blumming out of this world cold with a muller light summer fruits mixed in!

Chicken Dhansak, Pilau Rice and cajun Acorn Squash

Yuuuummmmm! My dinner the other night: chicken dhansak, pilau rice, cajun roasted acorn squash and a side of lime pickle. All of that for 2.5 syns (incl the lime pickle).

Hey, Jus made one. It was lovely, made it in a little pancake pan. I had some tinned potatoes chopped, hex b of ham ( I'm on green), sweetcorn, onions, garlic, couple of toms cut in half and and orange pepper.
Put the onion in the pan with some fry light, cooked and then added the garlic and fried a bit longer. Then add the rest of the veg, in a bowl beat together two eggs with salt and pepper and some mixed herbs.
Add the egg mixture to the pan and cook on a medium heat until the bottom is set and then put under the grill until the top is set.
 
mmm thanks 4 the idea! just had a massive omlette with mushrooms,onions,lean ham and hexa of reduced cheese and it was soooo good lol xxx
 
Tortilla is very much like an omlette tbh its just firmer and round lol

I think a torilla does have potato in it I think, I have always been out off by having to cook the potoes before hand but I don't mind tinned ones so that's why I used them and just sliced them up
 
well thanks for the ideas :) wont make one tonight as im trying the chicken bacon and cheese recipe that furrystomper put up the other day, sounds so yummy think ill have mine with pasta tho :) xxxx
 
Spanish onion, pepper, pea and potato tortilla......

9oz potato peeled and cut into half inch cubes
low cal cooking spray
3 onions peeled and finely sliced
7oz of bottled roasted red peppers drained and roughly chopped
7oz frozen peas
2 cloves of garlic peeled and finely chopped
5 eggs
salt and pepper

Parboil potatoes in salted water for 5-6 minutes then drain thoroughly
Spray a 8-9 in non stick fry pan with low cal cook spray and place over med heat
Add onions peppers and peas and drained potatoes and fry for 12-15 mins until veg are softened but not coloured
stirring often Add garlic and stir to mix well
Preheat grill

beat the eggs and season then pur into frtying pan so the egg and veg are evenly spread
cook for 8-10 mins until tortilla is set at the bottom

Place under grill and cook for 5-6 mins or until top is set and golden

Transfer to board and cut into wedges

I used normal peppers and added some mushroom to mine and chilli flakes too I think you can vary them quite a bit and I am going to try a few different ones as was rather yummy and can be frozen and /or eaten next day cold etc
