This is so insane. My Dr did not charge me and was very supportive. She said in the long run it would cost the NHS less if I was a healthy weight. Which of course is the logical way of looking at it.

The whole thing is totally bonkers.
My surgery won't do it, and wouldn't say why, I didn't even get to see the GP, the receptionist wouldn't let me.
So I went to another surgery (also NHS) a few miles away which has an LL clinic twice a week, how different can it get?

The difference across the surgeries is insane! You'd think they would encourage us as it's gonna save so much money in the long term... my doctor seemed so obstructive! never did get on with him which is why I changed :sigh:
