Back again!!
My niece is 6 weeks old and has 5oz every two hours. Yesterday she had 6.5oz in one of her bottles. I personally don't think drinking every couple of hours means they're ready for weaning. But that's just my opinion.

Cole was having big bottles every 2-3 hours too. My nephew was 9.1 born but almost straight away put himself in a 4 hour routine. Isla, my niece, was 9.13 and a proper greedy guts, some days it's not even two hours. X

Lucas wen born was 9lb2oz and instantly went into a 4 hour routine and we started weaning him about 16weeks.
Emily (whose a month old already!!) on the other hand weighed 7lb1oz and goes 2/3 hours and has 5oz sometimes 4oz but at the moment is only up once in the night which im expectin to change so she feeds loads more than lucas did.
Every baby is different so if u think babies ready maybe try and see how it goes

I think, just my opinion, some babies just feed more regular..
If you think about it... as adults we don't all get hungry at the same times so why would babies

Sums up how I feel about my Coley Moley
Having a baby changes your life
You're more than a husband, you're more than a wife
The long nights are plenty, the thank you's are few
Where you once talked of parties, you now talk of poo
Your life is a whirl of bum changes and feeds
You realise it's time to forget your own needs
There are no days off and no time to be ill
And nap times become a battle of will
The bag that you carry is now full to the brim
Of nappies and baby wipes, your hair needs a trim
A trip to the shops is no longer for fun
And you'd love a night out but when all's said and done
You look at your baby and your heart bursts with pride
He's sleeping so soundly or sat at your side
His soft wispy hair and his beautiful smile
It makes sleepless nights altogether worthwhile
He'll smile when he sees you, so happy you're there
He'll reach out his arms or play with your hair
He's got kisses and cuddles to share just with you

OMG a sobbing mess reading that as every word is true...
In my bag after a weekend I used to find a shoulder of Smirnoff (no I wasn't an alcky ha ha) and now its a tube of bonjela and a "emergency" nappy n pack of wipes (for those times when you run out of the house real quick with no time to grab the changing bag!!!) And I couldn't be happier

Well thanks... Coz I can't cry in private anymore.. I'm sat at my desk (reception desk) whingeing!!!!
Its so true though.. Even on the days when I didn't manage to get dressed coz É was being a nightmare... I couldn't be happier... Its amazing what 1 littler person can do

Oops, sorry. Haha. I used to write poems all the time when I was a teenager, god knows what possessed me this morning, not done it since I was about 15. Must be hormonal xx
