Pregnancy without the pounds

We're all off to stay at my mother in laws tonight, it's my granddads 80th today so off to surprise him, got him a cake but not planning to have any!
Hopefully I can be good as hoping for at least a lb loss this week.

Today has totally gone to pot! Had a gorgeous roast chicken dinner cooked for me which unfortunately wasn't very slimming world friendly with the cauliflower cheese & full fat roasties.

Also been picking a bit tonight with some quiche.

May have a low calorie day tomorrow & get bk on it Monday.

Yesterday was off plan but just watched my calorie intake.
WI today & sts. Happy with that with my weekend off.

I've ended up having three days off plan & have completely binged! I feel so angry with myself as I was going great guns. I have weigh in tomorrow but will get back on plan today. I'm expecting a couple pound gain. Boooo

Did you enjoy the weekend? If yes, then don't worry about the gain. You've gotten straight back on plan and I'm sure it will be off this week:) you're meals sound lovely as usual.
 
Thanks, yes I had a great time. My lovely cousin got married. Was such a fab day. Lots of amazing food & far too muc alcohol.
I think the gain is off already (sneaky peaky!)

Well done on getting it off quickly. I seem to be gaining and losing the same few pounds this month. I don't really mind as I've had loads on. We're going to centre parcs this weekend so I'll be off plan. I'm still hopeful I'll see the 9's for Xmas though. (Silently says a prayer lol)

I've decided to give sw a little break & try the 5.2 diet, I'm fine following the plan in the week but come a weekend I struggle as we always make plans last minute. With the 5.2 diet I can fast 2 days in the week & eat what I like the other days. (Within reason)
I'll give it a go for a couple of weeks & see how I do. I tried my first fast day on Monday & it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. My second one will be tomorrow, Wish me luck!
 
Well first week of 5.2 diet complete & have had a 1lb loss. So the verdict, I was really proud of myself for doing two 500 calorie days but I found it really hard to not binge on my up days. I've had a KFC, md's amongst loads of other crap & yes although it's been very nice I feel like crap as have had hardly any fruit or veg. So this weeik I'm back on sw & may do a fast day later on in the week so at least I'm eating properly on my days off.
I'm going to try & stick to 5 syns a day as have my works Xmas meal sat & have already chosen from the menu.

I found the same with the 5:2 diet. I only managed 3 weeks and only lost 3lbs. I don't think I have the mental ability not to starve/binge. I have a friend who has been happy on it but she's only lost a stone in 8 months. Did it not effect your milk supply only having 500 cals? (Sorry, if tmi question. I'm intrigued as I found the days I ate rubbish my milk was like cream and the days I ate little it was like water)
