can u take lipotrim while pregnant ive got a feeling i cud be but really need to lose wait im 19 stone and i know how dangerous it is been overweight and pregnant docs told us ive got pcos and fiance got motility sperm so our chances were slim never thought it wud happen ive done a test and its positive but not yet confirmed by doctor

yay well done thats great news (you never get a wrong positive)
i know its difficult but it does happen in the end
i had endometriosis , was told i would need help to have kids ,
and with no help from the docs . i got 4 children aged 11/10/6/and baby just had 1 st birthday
its great
not sure about being on this diet ,
talk to the pharmacy they will help and they can ring the docs if needed .

No you cant take lt whilst pregnant sorry. Not even if you are trying for a baby or breast feeding. If you are pregnant and need to lose weight whilst pregnant - it can be done I did - the doctor will refer you to hospital who will provide specialist advice and supervision on how to do this (I was overweight and had diabetes in pregnancy which I no longer have).

Hi congratulations I also was told I couldn't have kids I have pcos and when was seen by constant in done an internal scan and told me I would need help getting pregnant I only found out with another internal scan that I was in fact pregnant and about 6 weeks!!! Totally shocked but now have 2 wonderful kids

Anyhow am not sure you be able to do this diet when pregnant you need to think of baby and because it so strict it best not to. Would you consider slimming world it can be done when pregnant and after baby born?

Hey Hun that's fab news same happened to me last time I did lipotrim, I spoke to my gp who said you mustn't continue, I still went on to lose weight when pregnant I substituted anything sweet for fruit and ate really healthy, not just for me but or the baby and some how it's far easier when your pregnant(or at least I found that)
As for being over weight that may keep reminding you about your bmi and tell you about high risk but infairness most of the time it's fine I had a perfectly straight forward 3hr birth although I did have to wear stockings during labour because of weight and had to also have a injection after called fragmin (also because of weight) (there is a great website on line called baby and bump get ya self over there it's absolutely fab)

Congratulations hun! Thats excellent news!
I don't think LT while pregnant is a good idea as baby will need a lot of your nutrients (Thats why it's called eating for two)
And LT only gives our body EXACTLY what it needs.
Do SW while pregnant and look up a calorie value for pregnant women then stick to it.

wow - you are EXACTLY same as me and my other half - i have pcos and he has poor motility. (5%)

I have just been told that I will need help to have kids, one of the reasons that I am on this diet is to try to improve chances by weight loss. However I would say go to your GP and discuss it in full. It is definately possible to loose weight whilst pregnant but there are so many rules about what you should and shouldnt do I wouldnt take any chances hun xxx Congratulations and good luck with weightloss xxx

Thank you sooo much for your lovely comments, been to see Doctor today and he gave me an estimate due date of 19th October, still very early days yet only 6 wks pregnant and I know there are very high risks in misscarriage with me having pcos, I have just been asda and got all healthy foods no sweets/crisps/cakes, also Im still going to drink a few lts of water each day just not take Lipotrim xxxx
