Potty training done and dusted thanks Sid! Can't claim William is a genius (but he is, of course!) I think we were just very lucky with the timing!
Thanks for the group hug, I've got a very difficult week ahead.
William is going for an operation on Thursday to remove his left kidney (which is dead and which we've known since he was born). We're overnight at Birmingham Children's Hospital, which is an excellent hospital, but to say I'm terrified would be an understatement.
On top of this, how on earth do I eat Dukan-style when I'm confined to a hospital?!

Pauline bet your worried sick xxx great to hear about the toilet training little genius you have there. Think about taking muffins and a chicken, tins of tuna and use the family kitchen but Pauline Dukan might defo be taking a back seat while William has his op and recover. all you can do is your best and when hes home and alls well again its full steam ahead for Weight loss xxx keep us posted Pauline we will be thinking of you and of couse little William xxx

Did succumb to the demon wine at a party last night, but feel okay today and filling up on chicken and water ready for tomorrow's weigh-in.

Hot diggity dog - 3lbs gone this week and look, look, LOOK!! Not obese anymore, just (just! ) overweight
Three pounds is the most I've lost in a week but I've done two things differently this week - changed my PP/PV pattern to 3/3/1 (to save PV days for socialising) AND I've had loads and loads of chicken this week; no particular reason other than I'm enjoying it!
I've also had some wine this week but that is a habit that I definitely don't want to slip into, so it's banished from the house once more!
Thank you all for your support over William's op - how fabulous it is to have friends just a wifi connection away

Well done you !!!! 3lbs is fantastic !!!!!! No longer obese too what a fabulous achievement. Whenever I go to the Dr's she always shows me a picture on the computer where she inputs my stats. When I started in Jan (pre Dukan) I was just on the border of obese 3, I'm now in obese 1 nearly in overweight. I still can't see the weightloss in myself though.

Ah fingers crossed this week Pauline with William - will be thinking of you...... think that you will just have to do your best with Dukan when you are in Birmingham - not easy!!!! Well unless you want to turn up with a great big cooler full of meat etc and a microwave to heat it all - just do the best you can Pauline and take care of yourself - bless your husband - hilarious!!!
