Psyllium husks - yuck yuck yuck!!!

just had the effects i think LOL

still feel like there is more to come, maybe thats because Ive had to much.... Whoops!
 
Don't put so much in - I add a TEASPOON to soup (in the blender). It thickens it slightly so that I can eat it with a spoon but it isn't slimey! Worth trial and error cos it solves the other problem !!!!!!!!!
 
hmmm, I tried it yesterday, though I forgot to use hot water and just kept adding it to my little shaker to make vanilla porridge; it found its way into the bin quickly. It looked like sawdust and I hate the slimey feel.

I may try again tomorrow morning. Is it ok to use hot water in my shaker?
 
Strange how we all use different amounts and get different results.

I use two big HEAPED dessertspoons (equivelent to FOUR teaspoons) and it thickens the shake / soup just enough and is never, ever slimy or gloopy. Strange!!
 
What make do you use RD?? Maybe differing makes come out differently!
