Really struggled to eat today, been super busy with a block monster virtual art retreat and wildly venturing outside without a chaperon, hubby has been on earlies and he comes in and just veggies. Bored of not working and there is only so much soup one woman can make. Managed to find a small window in the squally weather and went out bought art supplies ( you can never have too many art supplies), a new non stick frying pan (the put your house up for collateral ceramic one was awful after a few weeks) and a rice cooker cos I can never get rice just right. I have high hopes for the rice cooker. It was so good to see outside again. Looking forward to getting back to work. Missing my Yoofs.

Well I primarily write poetry, but dabble in crochet a friend taught me a couple of years ago (and now I am teaching the kids I work with and it's really nice to see a gaggle of young people crocheting). I also do creative journaling and altered books.

I do a lot of online courses with a lady called Jani Franck, creativity is definitely the best medicine. Block Monster Boot Camp was very good, all about recognising our blocks to creativity and ways of dealing with them.

It's nice to see people expressing themselves through various crafts, I'm quite crafty myself, I crochet, knit, cross stitch but my real passions are cooking and photography. I love reading poetry but useless when it comes to writing it. Do you publish your work anywhere?

Oh well another January looms and at least I am not as heavy as I was last year! Currently weighing in at 14st 7 (had got up to 15.7 by July 2014 and down to 14.2 but gained 5 lb on the run up towards Yule / Xmas).

Weigh in today and lost 1.5 lb, not sure how I feel about EESP was furiously hungry on it and the day after I craved crap carbs, not sure if it was carb withdrawl or just not eating enough on the two lower carb days? I was hoping that I would have a higher weight loss. I am going to try 2 EESP days again, but perhaps Friday and Saturday before weight in. Oh feck it I am at Glasto next weekend I will need to find another class to go to!

Well onwards and upwards...
