    Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if she's searching the wrong words in her app but my mum is looking for 'Ragu Hidden Veg' on her SW app and can't find it.

    Can someone check?
If it isn't there then normal ragu will do, I don't think there is much difference. Just the sauce, she's making pasta.

All jarred sauces are 1 syn per 20 calories. There is no free food so if she still has the packaging she can work it out

There are free foods in it. It's over 60% tomato.

I'll check for her tomorrow when I see her.

Yes but slimming world says on the website and in the book that jarred sauces amongst other foods do not have any free food allowance regardless of the ingredients.
Someone listed the foods that have no free allowance the other day when a poster asked about soup which is the same no free allowance.

I have bumped the free food allowance thread with the list of exclusions

Take for example the 400g jar of Ragu Tomato and Chilli sauce - the nutrional info says 44 calories per 100g, which makes it 176 calories per jar or about 8.5 syns if you assume there is no free food allowance. Checking on the SW website, they quote it as 8 syns per jar, so clearly they're not giving the 60% tomato as a free food.
