Amanda you'r best to go by what your doctor advices...but if you go on a low carb diet, cutting out all the high sugar foods and also cut out or down on caffeine...it will help to lower your blood pressure and might also help with your heart rate, as a high sugar diet and caffeine can send the heart rate racing...you will also lose some weight in the process.

Then go back and get your blood pressure and heart rate checked again in a week or so and see how it goes.

It is also a good preparation for going on Lipotrim as it makes the transition onto the diet so much easier and with less side effects and you will slip into ketosis very quickly.

i agree with Mini, such a bummer that you've waited so long and now you can't, but the doctors do know best so i'd do as Mini says, low carb/fat/sugar and lay off the caffeine and you should lose some.

maybe try some low impact exercise too, like pilates or yoga - they can reduce blood pressure and its also a good way of keeping busy during the evening munchies. it might get the you more in the groove as well.

good luck babe xx

awwww babe. I know how much you want this. What a horrible situation- not sure that terrifying you like that is a good thing for the doctors to be doing.

Since being on LT my bp has dropped significantly- I went to see my specialist (I have a weird form of arthritis) and he was amazed how my health had improved. I'm surprised they say that you shouldn't be doing LT- as it seems to have HELPED lower mine. Hmmmm.

I guess their advice is best- but make sure they know the facts about it and aren't just making judgements (a lot of doctors do)

Take care babe-

Lots of love xx
