rewards ideas please

Hi...

I am looking for ideas for tiny and small rewards, that are nothing to do with food, but which I could give myself either daily or bi~weekly.

I am trying to follow Martha Beck's 4 Day Win ~ each day for four days if you do something you get a reward and after four days you get a bigger one. So I'm looking for ideas..... lots of ideas!

I'm so used to just giving myself greif and a kick up the butttttt (its a large one!) and have no idea of how to be nice to me.

All ideas more than welcomed.

I give myself a manicure twice a week, and I use bath bombs and bubble bars from lush at bathtime. Also i've bought Jo Malone perfune and i use it every day, rather than saving it for 'best'.

Buy yourself some new clothes, makeup, a book or dvd etc
A night to yourself with a nice bath
Manicure, pedicure, trip to the hairdressers

After I had my first son, my health visitor made me write a list of treats to have. I have since bought a book called "It's the little things" by Amy Collins which has lots of ideas for treats.

Here are some ideas for you:

Free/ v cheap treats -

A foot soak

A face mask

Paint your nails

Watch 30 mins of your fave guilty pleasure TV programme

Ask a good friend or partner to give you a back rub

Do 30 mins of your fave hobby (knitting, sewing etc) - make an appointment with yourself so you make sure you will do it!

Light a scented candle. Spend an hour or so in candlelight. Listen to radio or read.

Slather your feet in foot lotion and put on a pair of socks before bed.

Buy yourself some flowers (pick your own in season)

A skinny fancy coffee at Costa/ Starbucks etc etc

Bath with floating candles

Write a letter to someone, choose nice cards or paper.

Watch a fave comedy programme

Go for a walk and appreciate the weather (sun, rain, wind or snow)

Buy yourself a lovely pen or keyring (Accessorize have nice ones)

Phone a friend for a chat

Buy some lovely and saucy new knickers!

Eat a meal picnic style. Or using the best crockery and glass, just for you!

It would have to be cheap if it was every 4 days. I would probably put £2 in a jar every 4 days and treat myself at the end of the month and maybe a sticker every 4 days :)

Books are on the list as my main rewards - that and new trainers. I love to read. Going to get to the stage where I love to workout just as much as I do read - well thats the goal anyway.
