Rhubarb question

Hi,
Ive read on a few posts that rhubarb is ok in small amounts, is this just fresh rhubarb or is the tinned stuff ok?
If only fresh, is this about at the moment as I cant remember seeing it in the supermarkets, although not actually looked for it.
If it is fresh only that is allowed, how do you prepare it? Could I stew it in water with added sweetener??

Sorry, lots of questions but I really miss fruit and if I would be really happy if I could incorporate a little rhubarb into my diet.

fresh or frozen best tins have syrup ect usually
not sure of the ammount not loads i doubt ....i know they makerhubarb crumble with the oatbran and quark and sweetener
 
the stuff from the freezer is fine - and it won't be long now till it's available fresh too.

I think the guide is: 100g as a tolerated item on a PP day, and 200g on a PV day

nice to see you back online chic, didn't know if we might have scared you off after yesterday!! How has today been?
 
The fresh is in the shops but expensive as out of season. The chopped frozen stuff they sell in Asda is great.
