Saving calories

    Hi

    I am starting JUDDD on Monday. I have worked out my calories using the JUDDD calculator on the website. It came out as 1992 for my up days

    I plan on having my up days on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday Sunday.

    My question is can I have say 1600 in the week UP days and save the rest to add on to the weekend if that makes sense? Would this still work?

    I'm not following JUDDD, but I can't see why it wouldn't work, as long as you're counting carefully. I agree it makes more sense to save your calories for the weekend. I do IF on Mondays and Fridays, and love the fact that I can eat normally on the weekend!

    I've always looked at my calories as a weekly amount rather than a daily amount since I started fasting and it has worked really well. I too would have more on days at a weekend but I do make sure I don't cut back too much on non fast days during the week and would have at least my BMR to keep my body happy to lose weight on fast days.

    Just weighed in after five days and I have lost 6 lb very happy, just hope I don't mess up this weekend now! X
