Scarlett to target one day at a time

Done my meal plan and can't wait for half of them!

Again will be in my order, will decide as the mood takes me which day to have what!
Starting tomorrow as I haven't shopped so far this week-

Tuna, tomato and mozzarella pasta bake
Lentil cheddar bake with spicy sweet potato wedges
Sri Lankan chicken curry with rice
Pizza topped chicken with sweet potato chips (love them so much having them twice!)
Jacket potatoes with tuna
Chicken and leek pie topped with potato
And the obligatory poached egg and beans on toast for a quicky dinner.

Just had my pasta padded out with veg, yummy!

Posted my oaty bar ingredients earlier and someone lovely worked out the syns, works out at 1hex b and 4 syns for 2 squares. Was yummy, I love flapjacky type things and at least this one isn't full of sugar and syrup!

Got some choccy Philly in the fridge so think ill use it as an apple dip mixed with yogurt. Always a nice choc hit but not as bad as a bar. Mike wants my car in a little while and need to pop to shop first so better get going! Xx

Looks good, I particularly like the sound of the chicken and leek pie and the tuna, tomato and mozzarella bake. I may start eating more tuna and adding it to bakes as it is yum!

Thanks hun, trying to mix it up a bit too! Will be a bit experimental the pie, have done a similar one before and it was nice, just can't remember where I got the recipe! Got a feeling it was chicken stock with a teeny bit of cornflour to thicken as the "gravy". We shall see!
Just bought the new magazine so I'm sure there will be some things in there I want to add but will try and resist till next week!

Good to have you back Jenna! Xx

Afternoon! Had a long and lazy lie in as it my day off today, but been very productive since! Dry washing folded, dirty washing sorted and a load put in to wash, floors swept, dead house plants finally depotted lol, they've been looking sad for a while! Kitchen cleaned to within an inch of its life, coffe table de-crapped and mail sorted and sofa all plumped up. Need to go food shopping in a min. I know it won't take long as I always go with a strict list and whizz round quickly but still can't be arsed!
Got p too late to have breakfast but too early to have lunch. Will have apple and banana then stick my potato in the oven on low while I'm shopping.

Breakfast- apple,banana and coffee
Lunch- jacket potato with beans and 1/2 hexa cheese (possibly low low spread if I see it cheap!)
Dinner- pizza topped chicken with salad and sweet potato wedges. Yummers!
Syns will prob go on wine this eve, will pick up a cafe collection wine.

Have a good day x

Lunch was amazing, been so long since I had a jacket potato it was lovely. Had a huge salad with it too- determined to make it feel like springtime haha!

Realised I had used 3 halves of my hexa in my plan, was going to use the milk in my coffee for one half but I've only had one coffee so far so will just syn it. I only use a dash of skimmed per coffee I just usually drink loads of it.

1/2 syn today then and I've got some first cape cafe collection rose, I thought it as 12 syns for the bottle at 5.5% but this one is only 4% so not sure if its less. Will prob still count 12 to be safe. I always mix my wine half and half with soda so it goes further so lasts ages.

Just got a call to say new car ready on Monday (well its mikes car but ill be able to drive it!) quite excited! It is a end 2010 white polo and its sooooo nice!

Makes sense that a ceebeebies recipe would be lowish in syns, as although they won't be following sw principles they're bound to use healthier alternatives to other TV shows. I looked online but couldn't find the recipe you have, but did find another oaty bar with fruit (they used blueberries but said you could use anything you wanted) and that looked yummy too.

I've got a couple of low alcohol rose wine's in at the moment, won't try them this weekend maybe next (going out tomorrow for a meal and drinks so my syns are being saved for that this week lol)

Ooh that does sound nice. They were called "freewheeling fruit fingers" so not surprised you didn't find them lol!

I don't mind the low alcohol ones at all, in fact I've got so used to them I can't drink normal rose unless it's diluted these days! Unheard of for me!

Oooooo new car how exciting :) don't know much about em but I do like pretty cars :) x

Morning, looks like a beautiful day but I bet its still really cold!

Babysitting tonight has been cancelled so Instead of a quicky dinner will make something a bit more tasty. Also found out we have been invited to mikes parents for Sunday roast, will steer clear of pudding but do damage limitation on the rest, its usually a "dishes in the middle and help yourself" kind of thing with them so should be able to pile up the veg. Only drank half my bottle of wine in the end last night, so 6 syns and 1for the milk dashes in coffee. Also had a few teaspoons of ice cream as I needed a sweet hit. I reckon 4 heaped ones so 50mls? The pack says 230 cals per 100mls so I make that 115cals= 5.75 syns. Call it 6!
Total for yesterday 13

Today's plan
Breakfast- apple, sweet couscous made with milk from hexa, 1tsp honey (1syn) and cinnamon with banana chopped into it. Was really nice and first time I'd tried it.

Lunch- hex b toast with tinned tomatoes

Dinner- Sri Lankan chicken curry with rice. I load it with super free, plus going to tweak it this time. I usually use light coconut milk in it but it calls for a whole can, this is a bit too much though. I have got some creamed coconut so will make a weak dilution with 1-2 tbsp creamed coconut (2.5-5syns between the two of us) topped up with water to 300mls and see how that goes. If its not right ill go back to milk next time to save faffing if it won't save syns.
