Scientific Experiment

part of the experiment is to see if there's a pattern so I guess it will take a few more weeks before I can see if one has been established - any excuse to keep jumping on the scales!
 
lol - i know that feeling. i weigh myself every sun, mon, tues, weds and thurs as soon as i get up and after i've used the toilet. i don't weigh during the day as i know weight tends to increase/fluctuate through the day, so wouldn't want to unmotivate myself!
 
great idea! hopefully after the experiment is over and I have convinced myself that it's not a good idea to weigh at various times throughout the day and every day, I may then heed your advice!

I'm hoping my scales do a big jump down as others have said - this is why I get really hacked off - my food diary is spot on with what i've eaten over the week - why would I maintain or gain?

Am officially gutted, I allowed 20 syns for the buffet food, I didn't eat a lot because I didn't know the syn values (curly fries, spicy lamb kebabs, tonnes of sandwiches on white rolls etc), still we must press on :(
 
yep, the chinese I've just eaten, the bar of chocolate I'm about to eat, and the hen party at the weekend, though I don't tend to drink. We're going for tapas and there's breakfast provided at the hotel. Jees, it could be my first gain next week.

wow, you dropped 5 1/4 lbs over night, thats amazine, I normally drop about 2lbs.

true - guess you can't eat or drink anything while sleeping...
Its amazing how weight changes throughout the day let alone week, month etc..
 
i hadn't actually looked at the results, just typed them in, but 5.5lbs over night is pretty amazing, lets hope for the same again tonight lol
 
Hi - I know what you mean re: weighing y'self - my husband has lost 2 stone all on his own with no clubs simply by just cutting down and gyming it everyday, whereas I like to use SW to control what I eat, as it kinda gives you a safety net or a boundary of what or what not to eat - anyhoooo, we both hop on the scales everyday, not cos we've got an unhealthy or paranoid reason, simply just to keep tabs on our weight - I treated us to a set of digital scales and boy do they vary!!! Casing point: this morning the poundage read 5, I purposely hopped off them and walked around for a few seconds and returned to them - the poundage read 9 (!) - I did it a 3rd time (for the hell of it) and this time it read 4 !!! Hmmm .... I do tend to get a 2nd opinion via the good old fashioned dial scales in the bathroom and they seem more accurate as they never change at one given time like the digy's do!!! Odd, but still wouldn't be without the digitals .... maybe I look upon 'em as a challenge!!!!
