Scientific Experiment

I weighed yesterday at 7am and again at 7pm and the differance on my scales was 3lbs!!!!!
 
Mine fluctuates about 3 lb a day too xxx

My scales are digital ones, Weight Watchers infact, and they don't vary depending on how many times you get off and on them apart from at different times of day. They are as acurate as I can get to SW scales.
I can't wait til the experiment is over now though I'll carry on for the good of the group lol
 
Blimey thats a big difference in a day thats enough to make you go off the rails big time and be depressed for the rest of the day. I fight my urges to go on them for that very reason:sigh:

No it spurs me on for the day as I weigh less in a morning! x
 
I am finding this thread very interesting i think it's teaching me to stop getting on the scales all the time!! my weigh in is on a tuesday if i weigh my self the day before theres a 3 or 4 lb difference. Tends to put you in a bad mood for the rest of the day esp. if i've been good.

Good for u sandra for doing this I have to say though what exercise did you do over night that made you lose over 5 lb :p that's a big loss xx
 
hehehe, I honestly couldn't tell you!

It's definitely putting me off regular weighing because, as you say, any slight gains can leave you deflated and big losses could be temporary - nasty scales. I haven't got the guts to give em up just yet though.

It could very well be that there's a pettern emerging here with tea time WIs, I am hoping that tomorrow and Wednesday will be less than last week though.

Hi Sandra, interesting this thread, such a difference between morning and evening do you go to a morning group or evening class to get weighed? x
 
I go to a class after work but before I have tea (for obvious reasons). The difference can also be attributed to the fact that I get weighed in the buff in a morning!
