Scrumpers diary the revenge !!!!

OMG ....................I am here lol!!!
Ok its been a mad few months and life has been hectic ....
had a few hassles with some sad old english women who really need to get a life ,,anyhow thats all said .... back to life

Dukan and me are at logger heads at the mo ...i want to do it but quark and fromage frias are non exsistant which isnt a major problem but I just cant quite get into a routine again
I have issues a couple of days aweek as i work in a swimming pool I tend not to be able to drink loads any week day but mainly monday and tuesdays ...i need a clear run to get back into it and thought school term would be right but i dont think it will ..... so im going round in circles ...i think i have around 2 stone to come off again now , im so mad with myself not to mention the fact that i cant get into many clothes lol

so nice to see others succeeding and im sure i will bounce back soon

Good luck. Totally understand the mode you're in. Hope you can sort a new routine with new foods.

How's the family?

Tan - I think that perhaps you might have to make the tough decision that I have. Dukan is not for us. For some reason, Conso is beyond us, so we're torturing our poor bodies with yoyo weight loss and gain, and erratic eating habits.

For the past couple of months, I've been working at getting my behaviour more controlled. I'm far from being there, and still lose the plot, but while I have a PP day or two a week, and PV too, I don't go into ketosis, I have fruit usually four days a week, and have starch once and a couple of treats at the weekend. With this, my weight is more stable and I've not seen the huge regains, then losses, I saw before.

Like me, you've regained and lost the same stones several times now... time for a change?

(Can you remember what time of year we went to Mandy Mouse's place? I am in desperate need of Tayberry jam and can't remember when that car boot sale was on in the Witchy town!)

Tell me about the old cranky Brits... Personally, I avoid Brits like the plague when out in the country although have of late met a couple of nice ones. The sort who have integrated and learned the lingo!

lol what you like !!!
Ok so im on a two week break at the moment and have started attack today im going to stick to this for the two weeks then when back at work will have more pv days i have 2 1/2 stone to lose to get near where i was im then going to ww and i think i will have to for the rest of my days im using dukan as a short sharp shock but its my last time .... ive a friend whose flown to Brisbane for the weekend and she says she will try and find me some quark ........

ive nearly got minimins on my phone just a slow load so will be on here more ..mind set is that the weight has to go and i need the structure just to get started but I know dukan is not a long termer for me it worked once , but thats was my limit I think ......

still hating some of the expats no morals !!!! but hey ho im doing my own thing ...have a new puppy and cant wait for hin=m to be able to go walkies as the beach is just down the road ...
right im off to bed before my brain triggers into im board i want food mode
xxxxxx

Great to see you back no matter what plan you're following Tania!! :)

How's life in the land down under? :)

Also what's with these expats with the lack of morals? :( doesn't sound good

big hugs xxx

ah the ex pats ...they just a bit too two faced and mean for my liking ..... im not perfect and my gob seems to land me in it lol ...but if the sky was blue and i said it was everyone would go no its pink and orange and if you argue we will blame the world food shortage on you ...that type of think if you get my drift ..... ive given up with them but other half is peeved with me as i dont want to socialise with them ...ive said find some aussie friends !!

Apart from that Aus is great bit chilly as i now consider 18 degrees in winter cold lol ....... weve a beautiful house with a pool about 200 yards from the beach ...im working as a swimming instuctor and should get my certificate next month good job but the chlorine burns all the hairs off your legs lol

Im doing a 4 day dukan attack and then on to protien heavy very low carb ie oat bran and wheat bran plus veg will see if the weight comes off !!

Good luck scrumper sounds like you have an awesome plan in mind! Gooooo gal x

so 6 days in scales dropping which is good know its a water and rubbish loss but will make the fat losing easier to bare if i dont have as far to go !!!

As you say, the less there is to lose, the easier it will feel. Do you BBQ a lot of your food? Somehow I feel it MUST be easier in the nicer weather (ok 18°C isn't that special, I agree) and having to get in a swimsuit regularly must give you incredible motivation!

:)

lol you would think getting in swim suit would, wouldnt you :/ bbqs are too often im ok with the meat bit then there are rolls and cheese and well you know i could go on !!! we had 7 degrees over night i tell you 7 !!!! i live in the tropics whats that about lol .....im buying a bigger quilt today .... hope that summer returns soon ......

anyhow back to dukan so first week done which was 4xattack 3 times pv loss 6k not a bad start hope it keeps me motivated have not felt too bad ....so on to pv days with a pp once a week to see if it still comes off keep tinking downwards downwards !!!

Absolutely Tan... how are the kids' weight? Do you find they've gained too over there? And hubby? It is true that a healthy BBQ menu can quickly deteriorate after the meat part ;)
It's getting hot here now thankfully... unstable though so I'm never far from a brolley like a true Brit!

nice to meet you, scrumper/Tania. good to see there are people on a similar time zone to me, and nice to hear from people living outside the UK. i have to go back and read more of this diary, but you're almost on 150 pages!!

sorry to hear from some of you that you're struggling with long-term dukan. 7 weeks in and i'm very optimistic about things so far, but i am dreading getting to the end and finding that i can't stabilise. i definitely don't want to yoyo around for the rest of my life, and i'm hoping that i can settle into a good routine following dukan principles but still eating some of the things i love. i completely see how it doesn't work for some people, though.

C

lol Jo kids are fine but then they go to 4 hours of taekwondo and a swimming lesson every week plus the pool in the backgarden burns up a few hundred calories ........ dyl still has podgy moments but the trend is downwards .......just me ........this weeks loss is good and i dont want to throw that away so im doing the slowly talk to my self so that i dont get peeved with a 1lb off next week lol ....

hi dukanista ...
Dukan has changed alot since me and Jo started itsz another run of the mill diet so easier to follow from what ive read lately ..i still follow the old style im sure a few others do to ... I had lost 5 1/2 stone last year on it the the mixture of getting married and emigrating and settin up abroad kind off threw a few spanners in the works ...all my own doing as i cant say no :p......... anyhow my main problem with dukan is its given me a huge appitite all be it for protien but when you are let off the leach you forget that having this is not good if put in a chocolate shop !!

im sure it will come off again but then its just sticking to it which is the problem

Gosh a great re-start Scrumper, I am full of admiration that you made it back to the plan before you did too much damage..... I always forget to go back until it is way too late and I have regained the whole lot perhaps with a little bit more too!!! Hopefully Dukan is gonna change this for me as I am looking forward to avidly following Conso to the letter - bearing in mind I am looking at another two and a half years on it before stablilisation!!!! That sounds crazy - such a long time but if I do it I know I will have adjusted my eating for good not just for Christmas!!!! It's a life long commitment for me!! Oh dear, makes me a little bit scared!!! LOL! x

lol yeah hun keep on the straight and narrow ..thats what i advise ...this week i am sts i think so far but im not surprised as it was a massive loss last week ....
im back to work next week so up to 6 hours a day walking up and down in a swimming pool should hopefully if i dont reach for the carbs help ...im going to pack up eggs and dukan bread and water each day so i am armed .!!!

tried dukan bread today not perfect (but not made it for yonks ) but it will do a friend flew home from Brisbane and bought me some quark back whick was great of her she also found some english cadburys chocolate which im not so happy about being given think the kids may have a major treat tomorrow night lol!!!

well week two finished and its an sts ...im not too surprised as after the massive first week loss im sure my body is in total shock ......
struggling with the water intake this week as i am back in the pool at work but you never know it may even out not as hungry as i thought i would be ...next week will be a decider as im in the pool 8.30 till 2.30 most days and i get a very quick break ...im thinking dukan sandwich and boiled eggs as a filler .....

Preaching to the converted :) but regarding your STS are you eating enough protein? noticed you mentioned not that hungry...could it be like what happens with me...it's not that you're not hungry...just that you don't fancy anything "dukan" that's on offer?...

:) p.s. I'm back at it too :) xxx

go you

yeah i think your right im pretty muck protiened out lol !!!! im looking at chicken going must I ? chicken soup goes down well and eggs but i know i need to up the chicken lol wish me luck
